I'm just affraid that over a short time those tables and chairs that are just "thrown around" will look like crap and make the ride look dull and dingy when its supposed to be bright and cheerful. I don't think they will theme anything to the ride. No TV stuff about tornados, no big air siren, or anything. Just bright colors and maybe some signs like they had on Drop Zone of the falling cow when it first opened.

Dosent the discription of Delerium say... "Imangine being caught in the middle of a big storm." That sounds like the kind of theaming for Delerium.

I just hope the whole que has some sort of covering. I don't want to wait for hours in the sun.

There will be... it took them a couple weeks, but they added that canvas-like thing over tomb raiders queue... SOB has the worst queue for the sun, i'm pretty sure... that ride is crap, except for the ride itself. the queue and exit just look thrown together... i can't believe they used top gun's exit for that... and they expect it to be a world class coaster? anybody else think that way?

Who cares as long as the ride performs.

and they expect it to be a world class coaster?

You said it yourself. "Coaster" What the heck does queue have to do with "Coaster". Now if you said "world class themeing then you might have a point.

Nope. nobody else thinsk that way. have you ever played RCT, or RCT2? Do you know how easy it is to have numerous exits funnel together? Why spend huge amounts of money of queue lines, when you can build an entrance line, and make the exit hook onto an existing exit? Thats just smart business sense, and TG's path where SOB comes out, was already really wide, so why not use it?

Yea where else would they have the exit go, they can't have it go next to the cars because people might throw stuff on the track.

The sunscreen netting over TR:TR's que is actually the second covering. There was one in place when the ride opened on media day, but it was removed shortly therafter. The original held water, and so the park replaced it. The second one was added a few weeks later. In the time in-between the removal of #1 and the installation of #2, the queue was not covered, but it was always intended to be.

SOB's que is one of the more poorly planned ques in the park. Actually it was a last minute decision made more by park maintenance rather than parks execs. Originally the intention was that SOB was to have perhaps the highest capacity rate of any coaster in the park. (Adventure Express has the highest throughput) So the thought was that the que would be temporary in that area. However, once the park decided two trains would run on SOB, that kept the line long enough to warrant PKI keeping the queue as is. I agree though, it is terrible and needs some sun shelter and TLC.

I don't think they need as much shelter as much as they need those fun little misting fans. Though some trees would be good to block out sun as well.

The only part of Son of Beast's queue that I personally don't like is the large queue right next to Top Gun, because there is no shade and the rails get very bright if the sun hits them just right.
