Why in the world would you want an S&S woodie? CCI who is now S&S are not what they used to be...

So Thunderhead, Lightning Racer, Kentucky Rumbler, Evel Knievel, and Renegade to just name a few are considered ordinary? I agree that Gravity Group has built some great rides, but I would not complain if CP went either way.

I wouldn't be disapointed if CP got a GCI, im just saying i don't see them getting one unless it's alot more unique than the others. Renegade for example isn't like most other GCI's.

Would I be dissapointed if CP got a GCII? Ask me on Sunday, after I've ridden 2 of them.

Why would I want an S & S woodie? Perhaps because the two I have ridden are among my very favorite woods?

When it opened, the most intense wooden coaster on the East Coast, and by far.

Either is miles better than any Gravity Group coaster I have ever ridden.

As for GCII, the best I have ridden by far was/is located in a park now closed for good. Sigh.

By far the best GCII I have ridden. I hope it gets relocated. I much prefer it to Thunderhead at Dollywood, the second best GCII I have ridden.

I think thats what makes coasters so great. No 2 people have the same tastes or the same favorites.

^^I mean, it doesn't knock my socks off, BUT...considering on all 4 of my lifetime HP trips this summer and last (during fairly crowded days) LR was near a walk on, has MF's (which I love), is super smooth (especially Lightning), and is really fun and enjoyable and in my mind how a true "racing" coaster should be, yes, I am a huge fan!!

However, if I want my wood thrills, I go to Voyage or Toro, but if I want to smile and laugh, Lightning Racer it is!!
