February 19, 200818 yr why do you think KI is the only old paramount park not offering the family passes for $59.99. any ideas
February 19, 200818 yr Simple. They apparently think they can make more money by selling them at the higher price. People in the Greater Cinci area are legendary for buying passes regardless of what...and KI reportedly has long had one of the highest percentages of season pass patrons of any North American park. Why would they lower the price if they thought they could make more by selling fewer passes at the higher price? It's all about maximum return, especially now--given the debt Cedar Fair (and most of the industry) faces. Perhaps the better question is why the other former CBS parks have lowered their pricing in four packs, given Mr. Kinzel's continued insistence during conference calls that the company's policies include pricing integrity and not giving away the gate, as he constantly insinuates the former owners did. Perhaps he is finding out the old owners were not as dense as he would like to think.

February 19, 200818 yr For one i know that i would not purchase a family pass because my family lives in Kentucky and i go up there a lot but they do not so it would be worthless to me where as a season pass is within reason. I cannot say the same for people in the greater cincinatti area though.
February 19, 200818 yr It's a four pack of passes. Any four people can purchase together...the park will not check to see nor does it particularly care if the people are related....note that passes a family with two kids are usually cheaper than a four pack! It was not always thus.
February 19, 200818 yr Author I just wish they were slightly cheaper, I mean I'm gonna get one. I have for 14 years
