The irony of Cedar Fair's website

Featured Replies

Well, Geauga Lake, as far as a rides goes, is no more due to recent decisions by Cedar Fair. Now, I'm not criticizing or supporting the decision, but the rides of Geauga Lake still live on, at the top of the Cedar Fair website...

Excuse me (and this topic) if I'm wrong but...

Are the rides in that image at the top of their page not Thunderhawk, Steel Venom, Sky Scraper, Dominator, The "Americana" Ferris Wheel, and the "swing" portion of Rip Cord?

Just find it funny that the skyline depicted in that logo will never be seen again.

The three closest to the middle looks more like Space Spiral, Wicked Twister, and Giant Wheel to me. I do see Dominator, and a vekoma invert however. I see no irony, I see CP in the middle. I also see the possibility that someone is messing with our minds thru the skyline. The coaster on the left looks like Firehawk to me. If you look close the impulse coaster's rear spike is twisted.

And yet the Intamin twisted impulse is definitely Wicked Twister...Steel Venom aka Voodoo fka Superman: Ultimate Escape does not have twists at BOTH ends, but rather, as RollerNut has already mentioned, a spike on one end!

Another point...many of the rides do live on besides on the header - at other parks...KD has Dominator, for example...
