As far as the parks current infrastructure in that part of the park goes, that is about all that could fit in X-base!

Let's talk worst case scenario: Kings Island is down 5%.

That would mean that there are five less people per hundred. I really doubt that would significantly impact the line at all.

But, if you assume that one a busy day there were typically 35,000 in the park. But since attendance is down 5% that is 1,500 less people in the park. Not a insignificant number. That could be a couple minutes more wait in some of the ride lines. Not to mention all the lost revenue from the in park spending of those 1,500 people. That being said, this scenario is purely hypothetical.

But on a similar line of thought. One has to wonder how long attendance can keep dropping while per caps continues to increase. At some point that will become less profitable than having more people come through the gates.

Its like that old western line that we all know of, "Cut 'em off at the pass".

i.e. figure out where you are gonna make your stand and put everything you have into it.

Can you imagine looking down Coney Mall and in the distance between the two Racer/recaR turn arounds you see a giant Volcano with everything the KD ride has, fire & fog and lots heavy theming.

I would probably move Thunderhead from Dollywood to Kings Island, But another thing that would be cool is X2 from Magic Mountain, Placed in X-Base.

I love Bizarro at SFNE but it will be too similar to Diamondback to many people. Since the topic is only the US, I will vote for Skyrush at Hershey.

That being said, I don't like the idea of removing rides from their current parks, unless that park is closing it's gates (Geauga Lake), so I would say to leave everything as is.

Move Shambhala to Montana. From there, we move it to Kings Island!

I know most people would probably move an extreme coaster to KI, but I'd actually like something a little different. I'd actually move Splash Mountain from the Magic Kingdom in Disney World to KI. Not exactly sure where I'd put it, lol, but I think it's such a classic and unique ride. I'd love to have something like that here at KI!

Mission: Space from Epcot. Either that or the new Star Tours. I rode those two more times than any other ride during my time in the Orlando area. Thoroughly enjoyed both of them (although I'm slightly biased on the latter simply because I'm a huge Star Wars fan).

Maverick to X-base! But with new theming. Honestly though I just want a clone of it. I want the one to stay at CP.

Also, I think Gatekeeper would look good where SoB is, but push it closer to Delirium in that unused space.

Theres a coaster up in Canada called SkyRider that might fit in we'll at Kings Island....Oh, Wait, maybe Kings Island had a coaster similar to that before

They could, but we already have a snake named ride. But then again, KI already had a beast named ride then they made a sequel. I often thought of having a SOD but since the mess with SOB, I don't think they want to name a ride after another. Just my opinion

I think that American Eagle would be nice in the spot of Racer or another roller coaster we could replace The Racer with is Gemini at Cedar Point.......I still don't really like the idea of etting rid of The Racer though.....Like Original said, It is an iconic roller coaster that is known worldwide and plays a major part in roller coaster history.

It was even the stand in model for advertisements and pre-publicity for Rolling Thunder at Great Adventure! Red track, blue hand rails and all!
