  1. there is a picture of one on a window... I definitely saw that this past week... Unfortunately I don't remember where I saw it... Maybe the tropical smoothie stand that is rarely open? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. We bring our own water bottles all the time. We usually bring them with our own water and ice. Some are clear, others are not. We have never had an issue. In general, if we ask for a concession stand to refill our bottle, they will only do so if the part of the bottle that contacts your mouth can be separated and stays with you... The link you provided had that. If I bring just a nalgene or other bottle where I drink straight from the rim, then they shouldn't be handling that. In those cases you can get kinzel cups and refill yourself. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Now that there are permanent structures to shade the security guards at the main entrance and Soak City I've seen them doing checks every single visit. I don't think they are random anymore... I think this is the new normal. Personally I believe the wait is worth the security... Both to myself as well as to the public relations of the park to prevent an incident from happening in their park. I'm frankly surprised by how offended people are by this process. I can assure I have never waited as long in this line as my shortest wait at CVG airport security.
  4. The shows. Origins is fantastic... the dog show has some good moments... Off the charts is a great show... Fireworks at closing. I don't care much for the peanuts show or any of the festhaus shows. Dinosaurs Alive is a decent time killer too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. As a local I've been many times in thunder storms... It's pretty rare that everything closes down. Soak City will close... And the rides listed above... But the park itself still runs. They will do things like rub less trains so that you don't have to sit out in the rain at the brake station as long. If rides are closed it's posted on the entrance ticket booth... So technically you get a heads up before you scan your ticket in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Banshee twice, origins show, panda express, racer, potato works... Next 90 minutes. No wait anywhere. Amazing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Dodgem closes at chance of rain due to the slippery floor. Flying ace closes pretty easily in inclement weather. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. It's glorious. No rain. No lines. I've walked on, beast, Diamondback, Adventure Express, Vortex, backlot, gliders, and WindSeeker all in the past hour. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Drink refill stations in Soak City: They have added a brand new dedicated refill station in Soak City across from the perpetually closed graters stand. In addition to to this new one there are also refill stations at: -The east end of the main Soak City gift shop. -dedicated stand across from the lockers - Basically dedicated stand at tidal wave bay (also has Italian sausages) And of course you can get refills at the main concession and subway. Only suggestion to the park: add signage at the main concession stand line to direct people who want refills only to walk over to the dedicated refill stand behind them for faster service. 10. We were there this morning... Not unreasonable busyness, but the wanding line to enter soak was getting pretty long when we left... I'm sure it will be pretty busy as people get off of work today. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Why?
  12. Try using the waze app. I updated it the first week of the season to reflect the new entrance and the one way of the exit.
  13. My favorite dining plan places are: chicken shack salad, hanks burrito bowl, chick fil a nuggets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Thanks. Once you listed their names as Nicolas and Charlotte they were pretty easy to find. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I'd love to follow the other performers on social media... Do you know their names?
  16. Can you "pay" yourself by scanning your season pass with dining plan?
  17. It was a soft opening. There is a terrible quality video on periscope that someone posted of the soft open. I like the new location of off the charts as it encouraged more kids to dance in front. I think this location has a better possibility of audience interaction and I'm hopeful that will happen as the performers get more comfortable there. I agree that some bleachers might be nice... Or even better would be some tables like what they had around for the food truck event. I'd love to grab dinner and be able to watch/listen to the show at the same time. 18. The stuff in the middle of the stage had been moved off to the side the next time I walked by. It's no nfl field, but I'm sure the dogs will have plenty of room. I think it's great that off the charts is still going AND we get an additional dog show. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I posted in the current wait times... But they said train 2 was pulled off for a bad wheel. To answer your question, it was on the track next to the brake station. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Probably the same. I didn't stay for the photo after, just saw the long hair. But I loved his slack rope routine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. One train running on AE. apparently they were pulling off one train earlier, which is why the ride was down. "Bad wheel" given as the reason Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Why is the signage in the front of the theater from a totally different show? The new slack rope person (girl?) Is amazing! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Sneak peak at the set for the dog show, which starts Friday Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. AE has been up since 4:45 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. It was glorious. Everything I had hoped and more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
