I wish I had taken a pic... It was at the shop by the Eiffel Tower attached to where the kids were decorating cookies (cant remember the name of the store they had hats and gloves and stuff there too). It was aqua baby blue glittery sweatshirt (no hood) white writing saying Kings Island (not sure if it was snowy letters) . Hanging on a rack. It was $59.99. If you are gonna be there and could ask for me I would SO SO SO appreciate it. I wasn't planning on going back because of the weather but if its on sale I will drive up just to buy one I LOVE it haha

I agree the mac and cheese bar was really good. Expensive at $12.99 but you got a large filling portion. They also had pulled pork and beef brisket if I recall.

That's what happened to me too but it was a couple weeks ago on Sunday

I have been to Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park its awesome they were building that ride when we were there it wasn't open yet. But I would think WAYYY more people must have ridden Mystic Timbers by now than the mine drop. The park is pretty secluded and never crazy busy

I think I read or saw somewhere its bacon I would think its probably the same stuffing and sides. Festhaus prolly uses the same stuff from the buffet. Seems silly to make 2 kinds of green beans, 2 kinds of stuffing, 2 kinds of mashed potatoes etc but who knows lol? Also I wonder if the turkey and ham is the same too just not "fresh carved"...

Yah this just says Kings Island (not winterest or chrismas) but its a winter sweatshirt not something they really would sell all year thru the summer.

Anybody think the week after Christmas any of the merc will be discounted or on clearance or they'll just pack it up for next year? There was a Kings Island sweatshirt I saw I lovedddddd in the shop by the Eiffel Tower but at $60 even with the gold pass discount thats a bit steep lol

Well update the buffet was totally sold out today due to a company buyout for a group But at the end of the night there was a BOGO 50% off for the cinnamon pull apart bread and we got the last 2 and the girl gave them to us free even though my mom kept trying to pay her!

Thank you! The ice skating and buffet tickets were greyed out online... I assumed sold out but maybe like you said you just can't purchase the day of. Hopefully the buffet doesn't actually sell out!

Couple quick questions .... You can get the sunday bring a friend tickets for $19.99 at the gate also right? Not just online? Also with my pass can I get the buffet discount for my friend also or just one per pass?

What are the prices like? And did anyone try the buffet last night?

Right in years pass it was listed as a benefit of renewing in the fall. This year no mention of a passholder preview night on the website or any of the signs I saw around the park for renewing early

It was about the same temperature yesterday right so most of the big coasters should open at some point. I really wanted to use my bring a friend ticket today but he hasnt been in years so if all the big rides are closed... :/

Were Firehawk and WindSeeker also closed? And did the others ever open?

I really think they do this on purpose. Sundays are always slower (so less Fast Lane purchasers) also the free bring a friend ticket is only for Sundays. For example I was planning on bringing someone yesterday .. now maybe next Sunday. If I use the free ticket for him and I get my free Fast Lane I essentially have to then BUY a Fast Lane for him as well... or mine would be useless. Also it really sucks that the last 3 years the free Fast Lane could be used on labor day Sunday. Me and all my friends always used ours that day since it's usually the busiest Sunday now this year it couldn't be used until the end of September

I think it'll be both maybe. I do think the large area where Attitudes was will be a buffet style or sit down restaurant but I also think we may get the mysterious missing Huss Breakdance but that would go on the Flight Commander pad. But from googling it looks kinda similar to Shake, Rattle & Roll (which is also a Huss right?)

Yah last year we waited over 2 hours for it not realizing how far back the line went into the woods. So Friday night from 6-7:20 we did Blackout / Wolf Pack / Bored To Death / Kill Mart and Urgent Scare. The girl by the Field of Screams entrance said at 7:30 we can start lining up. We thought about trying to go and do one more haunt but decided to just wait. We were 2nd in line and good thing we didn't leave and come back because they opened the tent and by 8 the line was probably at least an hour long

OMG yes last year we had the free font of line passed from the buffet and we decided to save them for Blackout (that's also usually super long and the line goes slow due to the rope). Well big mistake with Field of Screams being brand new we didn't realize how freaking far back the line goes into the woods!

The past few years we wanted to do ALL of the mazes so there was really no time for rides too. It's kinda one or the other unless you luck out and its a slow rainy cool Friday night or something. But the ride lines usually are much shorter than the lines for the mazes.
