Coney Mall Concept 2022
You scoff at people having a skill/interest and spending the time doing something they presumably enjoy? The concept looks great. I'd love a Sky Ride down the mall, and I'm digging the new paint scheme on Monster.

Kings Island Announces Kings Mills Antique Autos for 2019!
I'm very glad they've kept those trees from the center of the midway. I'm really looking forward to the landscaping on this ride.

History of the Haunt
Thanks for the bump... I'll maybe have to create an updated version without the broken links and with all the information in a single post. Haunt is still my favorite time of year at the park, even if I haven't had the chance to attend as frequently as I used to.

Question about Kings Island's Monster
^Per Wikipedia, it was moved to Kings Dominion but was in too poor a condition to reassemble. Can't vouch for the accuracy of that statement though.

Kings Island Announces Kings Mills Antique Autos for 2019!
For the record, Southern Yellow Pine is not unique to Son of Beast. Most Great Coaster rides are built with it too, including Mystic Timbers.

Kings Island Announces Kings Mills Antique Autos for 2019!
Interesting to note, many of Worlds of Fun's antique cars are from Kings Island's former Antique Cars. I believe they were shipped over shortly after Cedar Fair purchased the park.

Kings Island 2019 Announcement on National Roller Coaster Day 8/16/18
^Is the random square out in the middle of the old safari land anything of interest?

Kings Island 2019 Announcement on National Roller Coaster Day 8/16/18
Are you sure about that? Based off the outline, it'd appear that half of Soak City isn't on Kings Island property.

Kings Island 2019 Announcement on National Roller Coaster Day 8/16/18
^But I would argue Woodstock Gliders, given its children's area location and children's area theme, is marketed as a children's ride. Just as Character Carousel is. Despite having similar ride experiences, I think two flying scooters could successfully coexist at the park.

Like having two carousels? Edit - Oops, CoastersRZ beat me to it.

Question about Kings Island's Monster
The ride was relocated to Kings Island and its tubs are visible on Google Earth from 2010 through 2016.

Almost... it's "You have disturbed the forbidden temple; now you will pay" ;)

Adventure Express History
I believe there's only ever been the skeleton in tunnel two, which remains to this day. The "Track Closed" sign is also still around, on tunnel one.

Antique Car Tracks
Great picture, but your date is a little off. Antique Cars closed on August 15, 2004. if you look carefully at your image, you can see that all the cars have already been removed from the track. Note that the second track (accessed from Rivertown) stood dormant for ~6 years. I think it last operated in 1998.

New Coney Historical Pictures
Wow! I just discovered these for the first time and am blown away by the quality. Plus the fact there are so many pictures... definitely a treasure. Big thanks to Paul Adams!

Scooby-Doo show?
No worries, that's a real memory! In the pictures I posted, the chair is seen covered with a cloth on the right-side of the stage. I assume the park guest accessed the hidden door from the other side of the wall. Children were also chosen to volunteer for parts of the show - you can see a few girls dressed-up in the first picture. A few of the shows were Flintstones Go Hollywood (1993), Yogi's Summer Camp Craze (1994), and Fred's ABC Do Re Mi (also 1994). The shows stopped after 2002.

Scooby-Doo show?
Here's a few pictures of the theater entrance and the show, all from 2001. If memory serves me right, there were a couple different Scooby-Doo themed shows that played in the theater. All pictures from vlad.net

Closure of Dinosaurs Alive and opening of lots of land.
It was only Flight of Fear when the area opened in 1996. The helicopter wasn't added until 2000.

Will Coney Mall be Overhauled?
Responding a little late, but Flight Commander did not operate the rest of the season after the accident. It remained closed until the 1992 season, when it reopened with several modifications, including the addition of seat-dividers.

Nickelodeon (Player Pianos) at the Park?
Bumping this a little... but here's a picture of the machine from Haunt 2008. And to anyone curious, you can vaguely see it on-ride here, at about 13:03: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iARdKCqpyAU

Kings Island Coaster Logos of Old
Bumping this a little, but you have it backwards: the logo on the postcard is the earlier logo. The ride opened as Screamin' Demon in 1977, and it wasn't renamed The Demon until 1982. I assume this was done to make it more consistent with the park's other "monsters" - The Beast, The Bat, and, now, The Demon. Also, bonus fun fact: in the postcard you can see that the train has six cars. But if you look at later photos - even from late 1977 - it only has five cars. The train was shortened midseason, for whatever reason, and operated for the remainder of its existence with five cars and an empty set of queues at the front of the station, where the sixth car used to sit when loading.

Pay-to-play attraction in Nickelodeon area?
From the original question in this thread, here's a clearer picture of the Double Dare Slime Shot Challenge. Pulled from the park's oldest website, January 1997.

Train live action show footage?
@Elfdog, the animatronics came from Cincinnati's Coney Island's ride, including the arrow-to-the-chest fellow. You can see him at about the 4:00 mark here: Even if the Super8 films aren't that great of quality, I'm sure a lot of members here would still love to see them!

Pay-to-play attraction in Nickelodeon area?
^Not many though... I believe it's limited to the concrete trough in the station and maybe parts of the station building. I've heard all the trough and supports throughout the rest of the ride were replaced.

Adventure Express Trains
2009 was the last year the third train sat on the transfer.
