Current wait times
I was there until 2 and lines were not bad. Was in Planet Snoopy mostly but as I walked by D-back it was almost a walk on around noon. I would say things are starting to thin out. I love when kids go back to school.

Scores on Boo Blasters
Over the last couple of years of riding Boo Blasters with my kids, I have noticed that sometimes my scores end up being odd. Each target is worth thirty points but my final score was 1829. This has usually happened when I am doing very well and kicking the crap out of my kids. Any insight on the odd scores?

Landmark ONE HUNDRED MILLIONTH Racer Ride Coming Soon!
I am out of town but I will tell my wife to send the kids over to marathon Racer for the next day or two. It would be awesome if my 7 year old was the fortunate one.

Current wait times
We didn't get bracelet at MA because it was not as easy as the one at KI and it was for only 1 ride in the park so it was not worth getting. The problem at ki is some measuring stations are more accurate than others. The worst is on Woodstock. If it is close don't get measured there go to the front or the one in Planet Snoopy. Also I have had my son make it one day and ride things and then go the next day and not make it. he doesn't understand why he could not ride when he rode the day before. I had one guy measure him and the swinging pole hit his head but then kept on going. The measurer said it had to stop the swinging bar but the next day as long as it hit his it it was ok. I know they are doing what they are trained to do but sometimes the splitting of hairs is ridiculous especially the 40" Mark. The only thing 40 gets you is Woodstock with an adult.

Current wait times
My oldest went over the 54" a year or two ago it was strictly enforced and she didn't wear the bracelet. I guess it all depends on the worker and the ride. For example my experience WWC is more lenient on the height requirement than say Woodstock. Side story. I took my family to Michigan's Adventure and rode Zach's Zoomer (same as Woodstock). My just over 40" son was measured by the measuring pole then remeasured on their more official measuring unit. Both times the associate said ok. After strapping in the supervisor came up and made him unstrap to remeasure. My wife was not as patient and commenting this isn't Diamondback it is a kiddie coaster where I had to ride next to him in the most restrictive seat belt I have ever had on a roller coaster. I had to reassure her they were just doing their job but they just weren't good at it.

Beast Speeds
I remember watching a video of the 25th anniversary or something of that nature. One of the men who worked on The Beast when it first opened said in the morning the train would valley right before the final brake run on occasion during morning testing. They would go back there and rock the train back and forth and get it back up to the final brake run. He stated that would never happen now days. I would post the link but I am way too lazy to look for that video.

Kings Island 2014 Discussion Thread
Magenta Lizard, I am in Planet Snoopy a lot with my kids. There is no need for embarrassment when older people ride Surf Dog or Flying Ace. I see adults riding those alone all the time. Surf Dog is a lot of fun but not too intense while Flying Ace kind of hurts the head so stick with one ride unless you have Advil but definitely try it. Woodstock Express is fun but I admit it feels weird if I didn't ride with my kids but worth it once. Now bribing a kid to ride with you on Great Pumpkin Coaster you have issues.

Wait time app
My theory on why parks don't publish wait times online is to prevent people from checking time and thinking lines are too long. This keeps people out of the park. If it is a mystery people take the chance come to the park and spend money. I know some parks like BGT have a central board with wait times. Even this could be done but I think to keep people in the park they keep wait times a mystery except if you walk to the line and look at estimated wait time boards there. I think it is good business but for my selfish reasons I wish I could know the crowd before leaving my house. Of course when I visit other parks lines won't keep me away, but for my home park that I visit 35 to 40 times a year I don't stay if lines are more than 15 minutes. #spoiledbyshortwaitsonweedaysinMay

Wait time app
I put times in today but they were little kid rides, The Racer, Stunt Coaster and a quick ride on D-back. When I go with just my older kids or by myself, I will put in the big rides. Now if we could just get this going on at more parks like Kennywood next Monday and ValleyFair in June and Michigan's Adventure in July. Thanks for those who input times.

Wait time app
Somebody made my today. I was driving by KI and checked Ride Hopper and someone put in wait times and they even looked accurate. I was so happy.

Wait time app
I know the app takes user input and sometimes users can be Dumba.. Well not very mature and put in wrong times. I always timed on my watch the time I walked into the line to boarding then post the time. If enough people who are not DAs input the time we can have a useful tool and save me the 5 minute drive to the park if it is too crowded for me. I will be inputing times tomorrow but I will be in Planet Snoopy most of the day. I just can't get enough of the Great Pumpkin Coaster. Too bad they changed the seat belts on it this year.

Wait time app
I have been lurking on this site for a very long time and finally decided to post because of the current wait times thread. I have posted this on the TPR forum and didn't get much feedback. I think we should all start using an app for wait times. I have downloaded Ride Hopper for free. I try to input times every time I go to a park. If we can use this app for KI it would help us decide if it is worth running over to the park. Let me know what you think or if there is a better app. I just chose this one because I travel a lot and it has all the parks even Stricker's Grove. I just wish more people would input times.
