Scream for A Kid Again on Banshee
If everyone reading this could just donate a dollar or two we could all easily hit our goals. It's not about riding at night, it's to help the organization A Kid Again. I did forget one additional thing, KK's birthday is April 16 if you need just one more reason to donate! www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/LoraGregory/screamforakidagain Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Opening weekend crowds
I am taking my daughter out of school both Thursday and Friday. I typically do not do that, but with Media Day, it's an opportunity we may not get to do together again. I am expecting crowds to be heavy early, but not as heavy as most opening days. I think it will pick up as the day goes on. Saturday if weather is similar to last year it will be packed. Banshee Construction Progress
Silly question, but will they allow the season pass holders to get T-shirts then? Or only when the park officially opens?! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Scream for A Kid Again on Banshee
Tonight I got my first birthday gift! I requested in lieu of buying gifts for my birthday on April 19, please donate to A Kid Again. I am getting a very late start, please give and help me make my goal. It truly is a wonderful organization. My friends Amber and KK, and many other families would be greatly blessed by your generosity. . . Please consider sharing my fundraising page on social media or with friends and family if you aren't doing the fund raiser yourself. http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/LoraGregory/screamforakidagain Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Scream for A Kid Again on Banshee
I understand dates and things that need to be turned in by. However, the likelihood I will have money to give until the day of is slim to none at this point. Bills and things have to be paid, daughter and I like to have a place to live, food to eat, I need gas in the car, etc. single parent, single income home makes money a little tight at times. I am not complaining it's just a fact. If I have money prior to, I will donate online. In fact, I know who I would donate to. If I have it day of, I will give it to someone attending. I am fairly certain they will not turn away extra money the day of the event. With all honesty, when I have participated In fundraisers previously, they were thrilled with extra donations the day of the event. I can also donate directly to the organization on behalf of KK and Amber if nothing else. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I had every intention to help with this fund raiser, however I can't swing the sign up fee. So seriously bummed about this. I am thrilled there are so many that are helping with this though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Fanny Packs/Waist Packs
Kmart has ladies cargo pants. I bought a pair. The pockets are not too deep. I went to a few thrift stores and found cargo pants really cheap. I bought a pair of men's shorts to try on and actually like that pair better than the ladies cargo pants/shorts. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Katie and Melissa being trained for the flight simulator. Buckled in: That boy above said we cannot watch the video or take pics of the video. Was slightly bummed. He shut the door and makes the video full screen, tells a coworker, this will be good. He then allowed us to video the screen. Katie is flying. Melissa is shooting or supposed to be.

A volunteer so kindly "forced" the girls into the astronaut suit. She would not take no for an answer. Katie Melissa Of course, I am a child of the '80's and remember when MTV actually played music videos. Katie crashing and burning during a simulation. A few other pics: I was happy to see the tribute to Bob Hope. I have always respected how much he did to entertain our troops for many years. This was really cool. It's not a solid image, it's made up of over 100,000 small tiles. I will be posting more pics, but they are from Katie's phone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The Holocaust / WWII My grandpas fought in WWII so I've always been fascinated by this war. This looks like the size a toddler or youth would wear. After hearing on this site about the Doolittle Raiders I looked forward to seeing the cups. The video about this plane was amazing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Spring break 2014
We left Saturday morning at 7:00a.m. To meet thedevariouseffects, beastie1980 and momofbeastie1980. Our first stop was at Starbucks. It's a treat we only really do on trips. Katie and her most current selfie. It's been a while. Crossing the state line on a rainy morning. Just for the record, snow (sleety, cold gross stuff) followed us. I did not want it to follow me. This museum is really amazing and it's free. I was blown away by the amount of history is in one place and in the grand scheme of things, the progression of where technology of aeronautics began to present day, it's astounding. We spent the day and could easily go back to see more. I never realized how tiny the tires were on early planes. I guess they did not need to he huge, but expected more than bicycle sized ones (or slightly bigger). 4/5 of us are female. We like the pretty colors. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Spring break 2014
Ok. I will post several posts before this is done. I can say we have had a lot of fun and not broke the bank. Thursday we had a down day. It was honestly much needed. We usually run so much we neglect our need to have a rest day. We watched most of season one of Pretty Little Liars while we have been off. After rewatching it, we both have picked up a few different possibilities of who "A" is. We went to a friends cupcake cafe, followed by going to a couple of thrift stores. Found my Easter dress, a few pairs of cargo type pants/shorts and a couple other items and did not spend $20. I love great deals! We stopped and visited a friend we had not seen in quite a while. I then had very encouraging call with a other friend. It's wonderful when you can talk to people and it lifts your spirits. I hope I can be that person for others. Friday we headed to Columbus, Indiana and had lunch at Zakarahos. We met up with SixxiNixx99 and his daughter (and Mason, he's not due to arrive until the summer.) Not sure why I did not get pics of Marshall and Tressa. However, Tressa is the cutest girl. She's so tiny and sweet. Katie and I split a cheeseburger and French fries, we each got REAL fountain drinks, mine was a cherry vanilla Dr. Pepper and she got a blue raspberry soda. Mee then split an amazingly wonderful brownie sundae. Oh so delicious! ! Bill was $20.85 plus tip. They have a museum on the other side of the restaurant. I hope the pic looks okay because I used a panoramic shot. We followed up by a trip to Half Priced Books and Walmart to see my son. We also drove by the Ice Tree. Once a thing of beauty, I can say I am happy it's melting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Scream for A Kid Again on Banshee
I am hoping to sign up this week. If anyone wants to donate and would like to kick off my donations by paying the $25 please feel free to helpmeet reach my goal. My name is Lora Gregory if anyone wants to help start it. To me it's not about riding earlier. This organization is truly an excellent organization to support. I strongly encourage anyone who has never been to Kings Island on a day they are hosting the A Kid Again Day to go. The people who you will meet will change your life.
