also really feeling it would be awesome since they're going with a cemetary theme, if they put a mosoleum/tunnel at the bottom of the pretzel loop... yes im calling it a pretzel loop, you want a batwing go see Vortex. and then play the Banshee scream in there so its not too annoying to people in the line and adds a cool effect for the riders. just a thought

once again... that orange looks great

either your camera is really good or the sun has effects on the track because it appears to be glowing purple almost a tad pinkish and i havent seen any pics with the color popping out like this.

ah of course. i just saw the pics and my instincts were like oooooooooo pretty colors.

even though the videos dont show trim brakes, i have a feeling there may be some in the back half especially after the 2nd dive loop because its so big. this is just a guess though...

so make that several racing coasters i know about that are actually one track.

no matter what amusement park it is, if there is a racing coaster that is 2 different tracks (different being mirrored like racer at ki, dueling, or like colossus at magic mountain) i always count it as 2 roller coasters whether others say its just 1 coaster. the only racing coaster i know that is one single track is kennywood's racer. is grand national at blackpool 2 tracks or 1 track?

i find racer just fine. the only thing i want is one side of it to go backwards again. i miss that so much.

i am curious... what kind of tools are used to paint coasters either ones being put together in a factory or ones already standing?

i dont see why theres so much hate. i loved Son of Beast (i love any coaster ive rode really) i had the privilege of riding it 2 times with the loop in 2005 and then 4 times in 2008 and my last 2 in 2009 right before it closed. ill never forget my ride in 2008 as thats what i finished the night with while the fireworks were going off. so pretty. but then in 2009 Diamondback tooks its place with the night and fireworks ride.

fear zone doesnt sound too bad, IF it were true. cant stop thinking about the name spectre for Invertigo. fits so well with the new paint and its like Banshee's distant relative, itd be perfect and this is an idea the ride is still called Invertigo for those that read out of context.

just checked the webcam again and i dont think thats a crane because its in the exact same spot and hasnt moved since monday and if you look close enough you can see the track of the first drop is much lighter like a primer coat of paint. i think its safe to say they have started painting the first drop orange. could be wrong though...

i thought most coasters had a shed or building where all the electrical things (i just know the types of coasters and the elements not the mechanical stuff) and motors are put in so it doesnt look like an eyesore? kingda ka is like that where the launch cable and pistons to make it work are underneath the initial launch section of track. im probably way off so someone correct me... politely that is.

was it 100% confirmed a gift shop will be under the station? that clearance looks too low for there to be gift shop and instead looks like where the machinery that operates the brakes and motors would go.

jack rabbit at kennywood in west mifflin pennsylvania when i was 5 years old. rode with my grandpa and remember going down the first drop i had butterflies and looked at my grandpa and just screamed and then on the double drop it freaked me out a little when i came out of my seat. and since then ive been a thrill junkie, a very bad thrill junkie nothing i wont do now. and my first looping coaster was corckscrew at myrtle beach also when i was 5 but after jack rabbit of course. i liked it too.
