I'm a SOB fan and my answer is a big no! Plus they aren't even the same type of coasters.

Looks like the last support for the first drop is going up now.- Banshee Construction Progress
I notice those and some tracks but I think it's for the back half of the ride (batwing, second virtcal loop, ect.). I could be wrong.- Banshee Construction Progress
Part of Slingshot is blocking it but it looks like another piece of track is about to go on.- Banshee Construction Progress
You forgot the two A-pillars at the bottom of the first drop.- Banshee Construction Progress

They're not topping the lift just yet, the last piece is still on the ground.- Banshee Construction Progress
Looks like they're gonaa put more of the catwalk for the lift in today.- Banshee Construction Progress
Yea, I notice them when I was at the park Saturday. Anyways, their putting the third column of the last lift support in place. I bet they'll top up the lift hill by tomorrow.- Banshee Construction Progress
they're putting another column up now. edit: darn, DB beat me to it.- How would you built SOB with today's ride technologies
I think the original track layout wouldn't work with a wooden coaster no matter what kind of support it had. If I was gonna make it wooden, I would have RMC design it very differently, use a steel support like you did but have the lift hill between 170-180 feet and have the first drop over 200 feet into a lower piece of land or underground tunnel and some over banked turns and air time hills that follow the terrain more (But not like The Beast).- How would you built SOB with today's ride technologies
I was a big fan of Son of Beast when it was still around but after some thoughts when the ride was torn down, I believed it was ahead of it's time. That also got me thinking and it's a question to you guys, if you were running the park and the idea of Son of Beast came today instead of the late 90's, how would you built it the the ride technologies we have today? Would it still be a wooden coaster or steel? Have inversions or not?- Banshee Construction Progress
as far as I know, only Intamin makes blitz coasters- Season Passes
Got my gold season pass for next year yesterday during the Toyota Family Day, they had it on sell for 65.50 - Banshee Construction Progress
