  1. I don’t think there is a “need” for a second skyline. However current skyline needs a remodel in order to make it more efficient. The cashiers tend to take on more orders than the kitchen can handle. Factor in that Skyline is often customized ie: with or without beans, onions, and or mustard. It becomes easy for an order to be messed up and food be sent back. Which really bogs down the kitchen. They need to switch the current setup to something more of the lines of Enrique’s. Where you pick your options as you go then check out. That way the kitchen is being overrun by orders, and orders aren’t being sent back.
  2. Great news! The Beast WILL be ready on opening day. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/167A54GUmP/?mibextid=wwXIfr
  3. You’d have a better chance meeting Koontz hammered at one of the new bars located within the park.
  4. Hopefully with the new configuration it will be less of an eyesore.
  5. It is likely that it will miss the ACE event as well… Caveat Emptor.
  6. Yeah, it’s looking like everything will be completed by Memorial Day which appears to be the new normal for Six Flags. Considering it took KI all winter and summer just to finish painting Diamondback, you can say Pantherian was painted in “record” timing.
  7. Those hotels ain’t gonna fill themselves.
  8. Lex Luthor Drops of Doom.
  9. Special events are nice, but the bigger question is how many special "ticketed events" will there be this season?
  10. 12 board of directors? Seems heavy when Proctor and Gamble only has 14.
  11. Free lockers, which means more in-line metal detectors… Definitely not a fan of that.

  13. Six Flags set the tone with off season ride closures and now other parks are following suit:
  14. The restroom next to the VIP lounge at Kings Island, though often busy and not the cleanest due to its proximity to the trash compactor, still has its practical merits. Its central location makes it a convenient option for guests in the area, especially if other restrooms are further away or packed. For someone like Don Helbig, who famously marathoned The Racer, it would have been a quick and accessible stop between laps, despite the less-than-ideal surroundings. While it may not be the most pristine or peaceful restroom in the park, its convenience and accessibility make it a reliable choice when in a pinch.
  15. KI PR are fantastic at their job.
  16. The park should put a log flume in The Vortex plot.
  17. Got shown an ad from KI on YouTube. River Racers looks a lot different from what I remember being unveiled:
  18. I’m laying mouse traps in retaliation.
  19. Lay offs have now affected Carowinds: https://www.charlotteobserver.com/news/business/article299317534.html
  20. Add two coasters to the Winterfest lineup and you get results:
  21. I agree. Having visited both KD’s Winterfest and BGW’s Christmas Town it was obvious. The park with the most coasters operating drew a larger crowd. That was 2023, and in 2024 what did KD do to level the playing field with BGW’s Christmas Town? Nothing.
  22. As of today, Diamondback is prepped and ready for some ads. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid02Gv7CqVWsuAkdkEzLfKiJZaF9kGD7HGvh3qQyAhmDwKzX***BVVmieAzZeuGkmovTl&id=100064730913995
  23. It appears KD isn’t the only park issuing layoffs: https://www.screamscape.com/html/legoland_florida.htm#general
