My family and I were in the previous train. We overheard a ride op say they were at 1,500 around 7:00 pm so we tried calculating approx. what time it would happen assuming each train was a full train, so we came up with a time of approx. 9:10. After 3 previous rides we decided to get in line about 8:20 considering it was about a 45 minute wait at that time and ended up just missing it!! As usual though, each ride was freaking awesome especially after dark... The Beast is hands down the one of the best night rides in the world!!

Train on the lift hill right now.

While looking at the webcam I thought I saw what looked like a train on the first part of the lift hill... Looks like I was right!!

Per an interview with Don Helbig about a month ago, Banshee will have no trim brakes.

Under the first drop after the lift hill. You can see it plain as day on the web cam today. These guys are sure working quick, there was nothing but concrete there yesterday.... but chain link fence is fairly easy to put up though... So any guesses on when testing will begin? I say March 11.

They just brought another support down from the staging area. Could we see a 5/5 day?

They are definitely going vertical. I just left the park an hour ago. Looks like most of the beams for the station are up. So far, the best view of the station construction is from Drop Tower.

What did the new signage say? If you don't mind me asking. THE_BEASTmaster, who likes to be curious sometimes, even though he'll be at the park this evening. The new signs say the same thing. The only difference is the last sentence does not appear to be added on compared to the original signs. The original signs look like they taped something over the original words only to reveal something different at a later time. Has anyone tried to peel these off to see what is underneath?

That would be awesome if that is in fact true. KI needs another record breaker to help everyone forget about SOB and move on.

During my trip today I noticed the fences have in fact been moved closer, and new signage along with it. I could not get a good view through the fence so I decided to ride AE to get a better view. Noticed large circular rebar down in the valley, and construction is going at a much quicker pace lately, so it looks as if we are about to see where the next stage of construction leads us. I'm guessing we should know a lot more about the layout within the next 30 days.
