Mystic Timbers Construction Progress
Someone may have said this already, but do we think there's a chance that the headlights on MT's lead cars will actually work? Because I think that effect at night would be outstanding. Unlike any other coaster to my knowledge. [EDIT: apparently Verbolten has working headlights.] Then when the train enters the shed, they could flicker and go out. I would be a happy boy if they made that happen.

The only way it could be a drop track is if they dug that section deeper into the ground. But I don't see them doing that. Maybe a section of track that lifts you upward/ tilts left and right/ shakes you a bit? Who knows.

Mystic Timbers Construction Progress
I've never ridden a GCI but everything I've heard about millennium flyers is great. Lots of leg room and a comfortable lap bar. I am really looking forward to riding this thing in April.

I like gerstlauer eurofighters. They look pretty cool.

I would not be surprised by projections on the walls. Something to make you feel like you're surrounded by trees and vines. Maybe some super realistic animatronic trees on either side of the track? That, along with some music, lighting, and maybe fog effects would be pretty cool.

If they did a Ferris wheel it would have to be really big. Maybe the largest in the US? I know the one at KK is pretty large.

What really BUGS me.
That's a fair point. I've never ridden magnum at night. I suspect the roughness had to do with the row I was in.

What really BUGS me.
I feel like the only person who doesn't get why Magnum XL-200 is so great. The main thing I remember is how painful the bunny hills at the end were. What is it that keeps fans coming back to that thing?

Decoding Episode 2.5: BONUS ROUND! Second Announcement!
I know this will never happen. But I really liked Disaster Transport at CP. Something like that in the tan box would be fun, but it might not even be big enough. I think a triotech is more likely, given the popularity of Wonder Mountain's Guardian. Also I agree The Racer is due for a new coat of paint.

I was confused by that as well. Other than the truck theming piece at the front, they look very similar to Prowler's trains to me.

Also my guess for what's in the shed... an hour long timeshare presentation.

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
Every review of prowler, white lightning, and renegade I have read has been outstanding. Why would mystic timbers be anything less? This thing is going to be great.

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
The shed could have some animatronic trees that try to grab you maybe? I like the idea of a funhouse track section that rocks back and forth. Also did you guys see this thing will have 3 trains? Has GCI ever done that before?

Also I don't really like the name. They could have just called it Timber and I would have been fine with that.

I look forward to riding this thing many many times. I have never ridden in a millennium flyer but they look fantastic. Honestly I predicted KI would get a B&M giga, but not until 2019 at the earliest. Now I get a new coaster 2 years early? That makes me one happy boy. Look for the B&M giga to come in 2022.

Here's a crazy idea. The seven dwarfs mine train at WDW has swinging cars that look like logs. I know AE Is a mine train but maybe this is a woodie with swinging log cars?

What about Timber Run? Has a nice ring to it.

Also.. The front car on white lightning looks like a choo-choo.

Lol... GCI does make a kiddie version of the millennium flyers.

I know this is off topic, so feel free to scold me. But this is what I would do in 2018: completely gut the crypt building. Install a triotech dark ride themed to chasing bandits through a gold mine. Then, because there is some concern about having 2 dark rides where you shoot at things for points, I would resurrect the phantom theatre. Restore it back to its mid-90's glory.
