Banshee Construction Progress
Maybe you are speaking of the new colors but most of what I see Paramount actually installed. The only thing Cedar Fair installed was Banshee, but if you are counting new paint I'll give it to ya

Kentucky Kingdom
And out of that large crowd I saw many applicants that I sincerely hope they do not hire. There were some being obnoxiously loud and believe it or not there were some that insisted they needed a seat while waiting in line for a nametag which took probably less than 5 minutes. I found it halarious that these people were asking to be hired for a job that would require them to stand on their feet for many hours and be in potentially 95 degree heat. I sure hope the people in charge were paying attention to what was going on because that sure caught my eye. Some of the departments were writing names down so they could pull up potential hires applications but others such as ride operations had a slightly larger crowd that would go in and out so he spoke most of the time and did not write names, although he said mine multiple times and talked to me for a minute. Once again really hope they saw who was acting professional and who seemed lazy because I would be upset if one sitting on a bench got hired over me, but I guess only time will tell. Wish me luck!

I am ALREADY back from the job fair. To me it felt like they could have gone for a slightly larger room. It felt cramped in there. What they did strongly push in the ride operations part was Safety. The man spoke of it and incorporated it into everything he said. So I give them props for how concerned they seemed with safety. The display they used for ride operations was a car from the Roller Skater and it's control panel. He explained how everything worked and that for that ride we would really only need 3 buttons out of the maybe 12 that were on it. Hoping I get the job, he did use me as an example of what happens if I wasn't paying attention and in the end apparently the roller skater cut my hand off because I was giving someone a high 5. Well I wouldn't do that but at least he knows who I am now.

The Kings Island Floral Clock
That third sentence!Coke is a registered trademark of The Coca-Cola Company of Atlanta, Georgia. As such, it is always capitalized.Even though a Purchase, New York company offers a superior elixir.Sometimes predictable Terpster, in Warshington.Lol I knew that was coming before I changed pages! And what is this elixir you speak of? Surely not Pepsi! That clock is awesome! Does it actually work? If so that is even cooler.

Miracle Strip Amusement Park
I don't remember much of the Starliner, other than it was white and had some sort of decorative tunnel. Maybe if this plan goes through ill ride it again. Only part I remember really was the curve into the station.

I had a feeling that one was going to be Terped one way or another, although I was expecting a "someone knows" but that is something that no one actually knows haha

Guys I'm going to the job fair this Saturday as I live fairly close, I'll let you all know if anything interesting happens or if it appears to be organized because I'm expecting quite a few unemployed to be there , if they even saw the message as KK only announced it via social media and their website. It might be the case that not many people show due to not knowing about it but who knows.

Favorite 2013 Season Moments
I liked the decoding thread and although this wasn't quite a "good" memory I remember being at the park and hearing a loud noise over the speakers followed by something along the lines of "severe weather in the area, please seek shelter" the shelter I chose I think was either Flight of Fear inside or Diamondback, seems like almost every time I can go inclement weather follows lol

Miracle Strip Amusement Park
Even though this article is almost a year old now, it seems that the new Miracle Strip plans on rebuilding the starliner coaster (1964). If this happens I might give the new version a chance. http://m.newsherald.com/news/business/miracle-strip-owners-seek-to-expand-1.93722/

Miracle Strip Amusement Park
I know, I think I had gone to the pavilion one time although I don't have memories of it like I do Miracle Strip. anymore when I go to the beach, all of the amusement parks there are very sub-par if there are any at all.

Miracle Strip Amusement Park
I don't remember traffic as I was either 7 or 8 the last time I went and I think we may have walked there because we stayed somewhere near it. It is just terrible that such a great park was ending for those condos which STILL have not happened.

Miracle Strip Amusement Park
Seeing in the Coney Island thread that their Trabant was being removed it instantly reminded me of Miracle Strip amusement park, although I have only been there twice, some of my strongest memories were on the Dante's inferno ride (Indoor Trabant), the abominable snowman (indoor Eli bridge scrambler), The Musik Express, and the dungeon (indoor tilt-a-whirl). Although it has been gone for some time it's memories remain very strong with me. I even vaugly remember a wooden coaster and the O2 tower their newest and final addition. It may have seemed nicer because of how young I was but it had a decent lineup for a beach amusement park, especially compared to those of today. I also remember how sad I was when mom told me it would be the last time I was visiting the park because it was going to close soon. What I want to know is if anyone on here shares memories at this once amazing small amusement park. Or what would happen if it were still open today (not counting miracle strip @ Pier Park.)

Banshee Construction Progress
I also notice there is no Fast Lane at this time for Banshee, could they be deciding whether to put it in regular or plus? Or simply not include it for the first season?

Banshee Construction Progress
Well shoot, and here I was wanting to be able to scrape my feet on the ground, guess that won't be happening anymore

Banshee Construction Progress
^ and to add on to that the post, the statement of his you originally quoted said that since he had been in ride operations, he had an intrest in knowing how it worked. I, nor has anyone else seen him refer to himself as "an expert". Let's all act our age and maybe santa will bring us some presets this year.

Miniature Coney model at Entertrainment Junction
haha I have something similar to that...but not nearly on the same scale...at all I have a Huss Rainbow and a Mack Musik Express.

Kentucky Kingdom
I find it strange that I live in Louisville and have not seen one of these billboards yet. I do seem to stay on the east side, maybe Kentucky Kingdom figures we like our golf and tennis more than the park.

Could the lift not simply work in a similar way The Beast does? instead of like on The Bat where it has a set slow point. The chains speed could be dependent on where train in front is at. when getting on The Beast you never know if you are going to make a 30 second climb or a 30 minute climb (exaggerated). It all depends on how fast or slow the crew is sending trains out.

Action Zone Re-theming for 2014
I think changing Invertigo's sign would be a fairly small project. They can easily slap a coat of teal on the... tiara as we are calling it. The sign would more than likely have to have new inserts ordered, I don't think simply painting a sign with a light shining through the back would work. Edit: (and to get my opinion on this see post below) TheCrypt is absoloutly right, would a matching sign be nice? sure, but no matter what color it is, people will still refer to it as "the one that goes forward and backward" or "vertigo"

Move One Ride from Anywhere in the Country to KI
^ technically speaking, blue fire does not meet requirements of the question which was anywhere in the country. Nonetheless though, blue fire looks fun and would love to have it. In my original top spin post I wanted to say talocan but then did not because it was in Germany, not in this country.

Kentucky Kingdom
Well after seeing that second site I can say I'm not that impressed with that attraction. Why would they build a 12 person Drop Tower? The previous one held 20 and it's wait time was like 20 minutes... I can't even imagine this one, especially if it goes back in the same spot. They had so many options for Drop Towers. Intamin, Huss, S&S and they chose one that looks like it belongs at a carnival

Kentucky Kingdom
Does anyone know what company made their drop ride? Is it like the one at BGW that rotates? I almost would have gone with Intamin gyro drop even though Intamin made their last drop ride
