Pretty much every other time I've been in line for Banshee I've seen someone line jumping. We'll be waiting in line and sure enough someone will come pushing their way through. They'll always say something like, "sorry I had to get a locker." Many people may not consider this line jumping since they are meeting up with a larger group, but as someone who would never do that I do consider it as such. If I needed to get a locker I would make my whole group wait until I was finished. It's not really fair to those that are considerate enough to take care of their loose articles before getting in line. I hope they can feel my cold hate-filled glare when they push their way past me. I am optimistic it'll get better though as the season goes on.

But is beer included in the season long dining plan? (Kidding of course)

Finally got my first night ride on Banshee last night. It was really good but, in my opinion, The Beast is still king of the night ride.

Dont think you can ever get too old for R.L. Stine books. 14 year old me didn't think that. I was really in a hurry to grow up.

Ok so when actually speaking about The Almighty Noodle #Jonathan, is it pronounced just "Jonathan" or "Hashtag-Jonathan"?

I remember reading the first one when I was in 7th grade. I thought I was the coolest kid in school because I was reading a book about The Beast. "Thought" being the keyword there. I wasn't aware there was a second one. I think that was the last year I read any R.L. Stine books before I figured I was getting too old for them.

I love that there is a mention of Blockbuster.

I haven't really paid attention to FUNTV until last night in Banshee's line. I watched the find the skull under the tombstone mix up game. Then about ten minutes later I see it up there again. Right before it finished, I sarcastically said aloud "hmm I bet it's under number 1". It was not. I found out that game doesn't just repeat the same one over and over. I held my head in shame the rest of the night.

Plus that announcement that comes over the speaker every 20 minutes.I never thought that announcement seemed to work in the past. The last few years I've noticed more and more people smoking outside the smoking areas. Maybe people actually pay attention to it early in the season. If Kings Island is doing something differently though, I hope they keep it up.

Just realized that I've been to the park three times now and have yet to see someone smoking outside of a designated smoking area. Kudos to Kings Island employees who take on the awkward task of reminding people that smoking is not permitted outside those designated areas.

Yes you do have to pay taxes. Edit: sorry I thought you meant when you buy the plan. No you don't have to pay taxes when you use the plan for a meal.

Every rider got a free CD of AOL version 3.0. Actually I wouldn't be surprised at all if that idea actually was kicked around. Those disks were everywhere.

I got in a couple of rides on Diamondback today. The ride experience isn't too different. The buckle does take up a little space though between the restraint and body. So if you're like me and were sort of in between clicks before, now it's just a little snug. They had to tell me to go down one more when I thought it was in my normal position. Definitely not the end of the world though.

I would love it if they changed from offering a refillable souvenir cup to a drink plan linked to a card or season pass. Same basic deal but instead of having to carry around a souvenir cup everywhere you'd get a drink in a disposable paper cup for 99 cents after day of purchase. This would be especially nice now with Banshee being absolutely no loose articles.

KI posted on their Facebook page about this weekend's schedule. They said that Sunday is closed for a private event. Thanks. I don't do the Facebook. I'm too busy yelling at kids to get off my lawn.

I may just be going crazy, but wasn't there a day that was scheduled as a private event but no longer is? I'm planning out my weekend and want to make sure that day wasn't this Sunday April 27th. I'd imagine they would have changed that on the operating hours calendar but I just want to make sure.
