Has anyone else noticed the Haunt tombstones and escape route map by the Crypt building? Why are those out so early?

I would say an expansion of Oktoberfest. And we just started off the 2014 season 4 weeks ago, and we art already trying to figure out 2015 haha. Enjoy Banshee for a while! She's new, she's fast, she's a "dime". Let's wait until mid season or during the fall to start talking about what's coming to the park. (Unless there is something clearly going on for something in the future).

Quick Question, may seem silly but will Banshee be the only ride open during Media Day this Thursday? This is my first time going to one, so I just wanted to be clear.

I find myself having day dreams of being on Banshee lol.

The legs are definitely changing, but the orange in the disk could just be the way light is reflecting.If you look at this photo: You can see a hint of orange, too (at least on my monitor) (Photo from David Morton, taken from Wikipedia at this link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Delirium_KI.jpg and licensed under Creative Commons) I see what you mean there. But on their webcam, I still see orange. I have never saw orange on the ride before.

It does look like Delirium is getting a paint job. The inside of the disk is beginning to look orange this morning.

For a B&M invert, it looks pretty steep

I think the batwing will have some lighting though. That or the outside loop. (Out of my curiosity, why is it called an "outside loop?")

I think Invertigo would be in the ERT

Judging by the webcam, I like how their are lights on the first half of Banshee and then after the peak of the zero g-roll it is complete darkness. I can only imagine going through that giant batwing at night.

When you think about it, during Halloween Haunt, a lot of the rides seem to have a fog effect. Most of the time they are by coincidence. The fog machines in Rivertown produce a lot of fog, which carries over to Diamondback. Off topic, Diamondback...at night...during Haunt...a little cold...with fog is truly a great experience.

I know Goliath is not Banshee's only competition. 2014 is a great year for coasters all around the world. I also realize what RMC can do. They can deliver a spectacular ride (Outlaw Run, Iron Rattler, New Texas Giant, Steel Medusa, Goliath). But IMO, Banshee is a front runner.

Goliath has it's perks, but the layout is really compact.

I whole heartedly believe that Banshee will win The Golden Ticket Award for "Best New Attraction." Sorry SFGAm fans, but Goliath doesn't have a chance against Banshee IMO.

Ok it's official (IMO)...I haven't even ridden Banshee yet and already I'm saying it's the best ride in the park. The ride itself is spectacular, but the theming to go with it is phenomenal. Kings Island, I think you just hit a grand slam with this project.

Just a little humor on my part but, here goes nothing: On August 9th, 2013 KI: Kids, B&M and I are having another baby. We are naming her Banshee. Now Diamondback, don't be jealous when everyone wants to see her first instead of you. Your now approaching 6 years old. Your growing up so fast, but mommy and I felt the need to have one more. DB: But daddy.....for the last few years I was the attractable one, everyone wanted to see me. KI: Your going to have to learn how to share. She's a new, special addition to the family DB: Fine.... Wait a minute....If little sister Banshee is a new, special addition to the family, then what was I? KI: You were a much needed addition to the family, two years before you came along, I adopted your older sister Firehawk. Mommy and I decided we wanted to start over, and that's how we created you. Then after you, DB, came your distant cousin WindSeeker, Your Uncle DT's son. DB: So... You're telling me my sister is going to be better than me? KI: Noo! She's just new, so she's going to have the spotlight. Once again, just a little humor

To the previous page about chainlifts and noise...The chain lift that reigns supreme as the loudest in the park is none other than (drum roll please)....Firehawk! I can barely hear anything when going up the lift

As far as bathrooms go, just add one in X-Base and I will be a happy camper. I dislike the fact that if I really have to go, I would have to walk very fast (no running in the park) to either the bathroom next to WindSeeker or to the one across from The Burrito Shack.
