  1. Great ! The kiddos love Snoopy and I don't care for haunt this may be something I can do with the kids.
  2. I understand it's a new ''theme'' but isn't a Rugarou a bayou beast in the swamps of Louisiana ? I will admit I HATE Cedar Fair's policy's but I may have to plan a trip to Cedar Point. Its been so long. I'm really diggin this theme although I'm kinda confused but I like it.
  3. I enjoy Frozen but, uh, My favorite Disney Film wasn't even considered a Disney Movie when it was released...The Nightmare Before Christmas, I would LOVE to see a Nightmare Before Christmas ride or even Frankenweenie featured in some way at the parks but I know that's wishful thinking. My most beloved Disney animated films are The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and The Beast, The Hunchback of Notre Dame..and I enjoy Oliver and Company as well, and straight up love The Jungle Book. With that being said I'd still like to see this... http://disneyandmore.blogspot.com/2007/04/nightmare-before-christmas-attraction.html
  4. What Shock! I may have to plan a trip to Cedar Fair next Summer.
  5. You know I have heard and seen great concept art for SDATHC. I know those Phantom Theater Buggies were to be replace with actual Mystery Machines. Your right BoddaH! I said budget because well I know Cedar Fair would sink money into a Peanuts Dark Ride..or Will they... Regardless I and many others would LOVE to see something replace Boo Hill which is abysmal as it gets...yuck.
  6. Sounds Fantastic ! Cannot Wait ! I'm sure lots of theming will go into this ! Now, If my family and I could meet Esmeralda, Quasimodo in France all would be well... PS* - I STILL would like to see a ride based off of The Nightmare Before Christmas! I know one was close to being built.
  7. Wowsers! That's Cool ! I remember CornStalkers from years ago and I've always wanted to see what it looked like during the daytime.
  8. Smurf Cones are a Dollar !!!!
  9. I'm a Christian. A Baptist Christian. I do not agree with Gays, Lesbians or their life style. I do not hate you. I won't preach at you and condemn you to Hell. Many people give Christianity a black eye and sadly it's mostly us Christians ( Westboro Baptist Chruch anyone?) God gives us choice. Life is a choice. One thing I have learned is that you HAVE to love the person and Hate the sin. I hope you all have fun ! Enjoy it ! Life is too short to hate someone. That's just my 2 cents.
  10. I just wish Cedar Fair would give us a Peanuts themed dark ride they can do it on budget...we all can see evidence of that I think we thrill nuts with kids & nieces ,nephews, cousins deserve a nice refreshing ride for the wee ones when I take kids with me they do get tired of waiting with me being put in the ''kiddie cage'' while I ride Banshee, Beast etc. Don't get me wrong I will and do take em to Planet Snoopy but they get so bored so quickly and I WILL NOT repeat WILL NOT waste my time on Boo Hill it's abysmal and I'm not going to waste my time. I know Cedar Fair could gives a nice peanuts theme dark ride and the other parks too on a budget. Planet Snoopy is getting boring for my nieces...
  11. Cedar Fair TAKE NOTES ! This news excites me and it also upsets me. See, Six Flags St.Louis had by far the greatest Scooby-Doo Dark Ride it was called Scooby-Doo: The Mystery of Scary Swamp. I loved this ride it made me feel that special kind of feeling that I felt as a kid watching Scooby-Doo on Saturday morning with a bowl of cereal. YES! This ride made me feel as if I were in an episode of Scooby-Doo,Where are you. Which is why I was so upset to hear Scooby-Doo: The Mystery of Scary Swamp will be closing to make room for a new dark ride by Sally ...a BIG DARK RIDE ! A.BIG. MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR.DARK.RIDE. Justice League:Battle for Metropolis! As a comic book fan I'm curious to see how this will be. It sounds AWESOME! Now, I prefer DC Comics over Marvel always have mainly because the stories are some what grittier and darker and Batman is by far my favorite superhero always has been since I was a kid. Cedar Fair why haven't you guys contacted Sally and give us thrill nerds with kids a Great Pumpkin or Snoopy, Peanuts Dark Ride Experience ? Anyway, Six Flags is doing something right this ride will attract families with tweens and teens. As I said before ... Take Notes. http://www.broadwayworld.com/bwwmovies/article/Six-Flags-Introduces-JUSTICE-LEAGUE-BATTLE-FOR-METROPOLIS-20140828 http://sallycorp.com/news/new-sally-corp-justice-league-dark-rides-set-for-six-flags/
  12. I didn't go to the park as much as I thought I would this year.I'm going to wait until the Spring 2015 to get a pass if I think it's going to be worth it Season wise.
  13. I for one remember when ''The Beast'' had water surrounding it. I don't do Haunt or anything else like it..but I am curious about what's going on.
  14. Seen Scooby-Doo! Stuff in the 80s store and it brought a smile to my face. The prices are unreal I could go to Wal-Mart,Kohl's or Target and get a T-Shirt cheaper.
  15. It's a Common Misconception for people to call this Smurf Grumpy, When his name is really Grouchy Smurf,Grumpy is a Dwarf in Disney's Snow White. I LOVED The Smurfs as a Kid growing up in the 80's so The Smurfs Enchanted Voyage was my FAVORITE ride back in the Day. That's so Awesome. Those of us that grew up in the 80s and 90s had it made without the distractions that are surround us this day and age.
  16. Been following the construction near The Beast and from what I've read I like the theme they are ''rumored'' to be using but I wish they would do something with TR:TR it's just sitting there.
  17. I Don't like James at all mainly because the way he treated the Cavs and The Fans it was so disrespectful. No, I'm not a Cavs fan I'm a Charlotte Fan since 1988. I have a HUGE amount of respect for Jordan, Bird, Bogues ,Johnson & Ewing. If Cedar Fair names any coaster ''King James'' that's just too much.
  18. I've been saying this for a long while now we do need a new family dark ride..this idea sounds so cool. I'd rather see a dark ride themed around the Great Pumpkin but that is just me.
  19. Really? I'd rather see Scooby-Doo than the Avengers..Don't want to make waves but..yeah.
  20. I was speaking to a good friend of mine the other day and we started talking about theme parks. He said that when paramount had the park the original plan for that area of stunt track was going to be a highly themed coaster/ highly themed haunted house themed to and around the paramount Addams family movie. That would have been cool but then he went on and said paramount could NOT get the rights from the Addams family rights holders and so the paramount park exec's went on to the next concept, Italian job: stunt track and told me to go to Dollywood and ride Mystery Mine because that's what Addams would have been like. Dunno if it's true or not but it's interesting and wanted to ask...Is it true ? I personally would not be sad to see stunt track go and something new take it's place.I would like to see a Intamin mega lite coaster in that area. I know that's most likely not gonna happen.
  21. Waiting in line I hear a small child ask her daddy - '' Does The Racer go up side down'' Her dad replies '' No, But it did go backwards at one time.'' I was so happy by that response. I hear all kinda of stupid responses but that one ..made me so happy inside.
  22. I have been wondering about this as well..I was at the park on Saturday and I'd like to get a Bat T-shirt.
  23. That's jacked up! Sorry that happened to you ! I NEVER use a locker or take things to the park I don't need. I'm always prepared when I go to the park. again I'm really sorry.
  24. I thought the reason they got rid of the Scooby-Doo theme was because of Snoopy!?
  25. That's still too expensive...I'd rather pack a lunch or go to McDonald's or Taco Bell and return to the park.
