Oh it does. Compare how close it is to the transfers. It's pretty close. Almost too close...

No Splashing Available on Diamondback
Just checking out the webcams to see if I wanted to head to the park or not, and I just noticed that Diamondback's splashdown element is not filled, and also not splashing... (Photo captured via Diamondback Webcam @ Visitkingsisland.com

They did pretty good music. It didn't make me go insane like you do. If you went near Lightning Rod, her songs are playing. But for the most part. All the areas are playing themed music.

Dollywood 7/9/2016
So Dollywood trip report. I have to say, I very much enjoyed the park. It's very interesting in a few days from Kings Island, including guest servicing. But for now. Onto the roller coasters! Thunderhead: very twisted wooden roller coaster. I like how it mists while on the lift hill. Very nice little feature they have. Dollywood certainly has a lot of misters everywhere honestly. Mystery Mine: for my first Gerstlauer it was a very awesome roller coaster. Some head banging though. So that was a little different. But I love the Elements. Fire chaser: I love this ride as well. The launches are pretty quick, and sudden. Though the restraints kind of hurt due to the boots on the restraint poking out (the ends of them. So they stick out a bit and poke you.) Wild eagle: as a wing coaster, it's a pretty interesting ride. Plenty of close calls in many ways. But I don't like how the vests lock in on you. Tennessee Tornado: for this ride. I like how it's smooth and all, but watch out for that ending. I lifted out of my seat hard enough for my knee to hit the car and that hurt. Blazing fury: ehh.... All it did was hurt my stomach a bit. Dizzy disk: better than surf dog. Honestly. Lightning Rod: closed until further notice.

Dollywood 7/9/2016
Hey everyone! I am currently heading to Dollywood amusement park at this time! I'm going to be there on Saturday, so fingers crossed that Lightning Rod is open when we go. They're expecting possible storms. So let's hope it goes well. We are heading there now to go to Cliffmans Dome for the sunset and for also star gazing.

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
Not really... Those are smaller than the footers on Banshee, and Diamondback. But the right size, and they happen to be a circle for a wooden coaster... hmmmmmmmmmm?

Holiday World evacuated due to threat
Just think... If someone did this at Banshee and Kings Island had to evacuate because of the no-loose article policy...

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
The only thing we have is not even a layout, it's the path to a layout. We don't know what the banks are going to be, or if there are any twists or loops (We can rule out Dive/Immelmans/Vertical Loops) since You can most definitely tell those parts of any roller coaster. But are we going to have Barrel rolls, we don't know until a more detailed plan is shown off. Which possibly won't happen for a little longer down the road. We still don't know a name. It could be Centurion, but it also could be something different. We still do not know a manufacturer... RMC, GCI, CCI, GG, Intamin even... (I doubt intamin, but you never know) We still don't even exactly know the height, length, nor the exact location that this ride will be placed in. We know the experience shown while being on the train will definitely change when this ride comes. We know to watch for falling trees. Axes, and barrels have something to do with it. By the way, can't we just go back to the old saying... "Those who know, do not speak. Those who don't know, speak"? And can we also stop tearing out heads off of our necks with this tread? Seriously? It's very bad here and I feel like a lot of people are hating each other on this site, and no one should EVER be called out, and or getting rude private messages. If you know, STOP talking. If you don't know, please continue to talk. but be nice about it! This thread is very frustrating, and I honestly think it might be possible to suggest a shut down, or a firm limitation because I don't like how this thread is going, and I feel like other people are feeling the same way.

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
What do we know... Right now we know that Kings Island (Specifically Public Relations) has been posting pictures on social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram teasing at the construction going on in Rivertown. Last year (2015) during the off-season, the park tore down the Funnel Cake stand, and the old White Water Canyon entrance and since moved them under Diamondback's Lift/First Drop. 3-point shoot was also moved under Diamondback, as well as a new Rivertown game where you win by kicking a soccer ball into a goal. A layout was leaked by Kings Island Expo in early June showing that the ride might possibly be a wooden roller coaster. Manufacturer? Unknown. What it does? Unknown. Name? Unknown. The only thing we honestly know is what the layout will look like. We don't know what it's going to do, or where exactly it will be placed. Gav... I'm sorry but if you have more detailed plans, those plans would've been posted by someone already. And if you did have more detail plans, how did you get them? Straight from the park themselves? Not likely... If you have more detailed plans those plans should already be in City Hall, whether they'd be in under-review, or final copy or anything. They should already be available. Watch for falling trees my friends... they might by axed down... Best to go axe Don a question before the official announcement soon...

Which Ride Will Leave Next
Let's give you a few ideas on what should be removed, and what the park may or may not keep in mind. Maintenance work... Does it cost a lot to maintain? Is it down all the time (For something not Weather related) Low Ridership... Who is riding the ride still? Kids? Adults? How many people actually still ride the ride on a yearly basis? Given those things... Congo Falls is honestly the only thing I could see leaving soon... When is the last time you've seen a line past 15 minutes on Congo Falls? Probably not since it's opening year as Amazon Falls.

Dollywood 2016
Yeah I didn't see that! We posted nearly the same time so I missed his post because I was writing when he submitted his post. I do hope they get things ironed out. Because this ride is just awesome when its running. But when it's experiencing downtime after a certain amount of cycles and failing to open on time during the day, it's frustrating. I'm hoping this 3-5 day break will allow them to work on the ride and possible figure out the issue. Maybe they can have their EUREKA!!! moment here and did the ride for good. New rides will always have their Downtime Banshee on Opening Day experienced Downtime... Didn't Diamondback have an issue as well? The ride is new, especially with them trying new things on their restraints, they do not want a Texas Giant incident on their OWN trains.

Should I mention that I saw someone in a GCI polo ride The Beast, and then afterwards take pictures of the ride?

Tell that to Paramount.

Kings Island 2016 Discussion Thread
Typically, Operators should be saying "seat" before the number or "row" before the number and it's usually less confusing as it's hard to confuse seat with number of people on the cycle. Then again. This is the GP we are talking about here...

Decoding Episode II: Rivertown 2017 and the Falling Trees
I have no idea about Mason but in some areas a company can request to keep plans secret for competitive reasons. The park knew this was going to happen considering both Diamondback and Banshee plans leaked before the announcement. There is likely some way the park could have kept the plans secret if they wanted. They can have anything Medical wise on the plans to keep them secret. "My grandfather had a nosebleed on April 29th 1972 when riding The Racer roller coaster" can instantly keep a plan silent because it's medical history, which is kept private.

Someone wouldn't acknowledge a leak? Or reverse reverse phychology.

First Time to Holiday World! (6/11-6/12)
Thunderbird - Left Front Review During my rides on Thunderbird I plan on sitting in all four corners of the train, on the outside seat. I am giving reviews of each seat. While the left side isn't really fun in the first element, the rest of the layout was great and there were foot choppers from the supports and footers. I'd definitely go for this side on any visit! The launch was smooth, the entire ride was smooth! Thlugh if you don't like wind, then the front isn't for you.

They were only running one train for about half of the time waiting, they're now running two trains. It was absolutely amazing. Even more so that I wish go ride it again.

First Time to Holiday World! (6/11-6/12)
Live at Holiday World! I'm currently in line for the Voyage, which is more than likely an hour at best. So I wanted to run down the day so far! Currently I've ridden Liberty Launch, which is basically like a power tower with both drop and launch! I've also ridden Eagles Flight, their gliders at the park, and I have to say, it's possible to snap them. I just need to be a little more brave about it. As for the Voyage, I'm waiting in line right now. Capacity is pretty slow, but what I'm seeing looks pretty cool so far! Can't wait to ride it! I will more than likely give an update after riding it! No pictures until Sunday night or Monday.
