I guess we all knew this was coming, The end of Son of Beast as we know it. Everybody did not want this to be done but Whatever is in the parks best interest is what needed to be done and what was done. I would like for Kings Island to give out (sell) peices of wood from Son of Beast, and it would give it's last supporting fans one last memory of the ride. As the curtains close and the wood starts to crumble there is only one last thing to say, That was a hell of an SOB and one hell of a ride. RIP Son of Beast.

Is Magic Mountain on the same time zone as Mountain time? Im coming from the Denver Area and want to get there when it opens last time I was that far west I could of sworn I was on Pacific Time not Mountain time . No Magic Mountain is suprisingly not on Mountain time. It is actually on ground level time.

I usually don't get into these completely useless Coaster A is better than Coaster B fights because it's all someone's opinion, but seriously? I'd ride my bike down Son of Beast's hill before ever riding Mantis again. I don't think that Mantis is a bad coaster, but it's comfortable days ended a Long time ago, and with that being said the ride is kind of a halfway decent. The only bad part about Mantis is that its uncomfortable, but besides that I enjoy Mantis.

Who has the better Halloween Haunt in your opinion, Kings Island or Kings Dominion?

I remember the backwards Racer, It was fun but changes are changes and at Kings Island, changes are always happening.

In my opinion, Dinosaurs Alive has been a children's attraction from the very announcement of the exhibit. I only went in Dinosaurs Alive once, just so that I could say that I walked through it. The majority of people that go in DA are parents who are taking there young children to see a robotic dinosaurs. They don't seem very realistic and to me a waste of space. From many points of view, It looks like DA doesn't get very many visitors. Most people and children don't go to Kings Island to walk through a Dinosaur exhibit, they go for thrills, live shows, entertainment, great times, and with all respect to KI, Dinosaurs Alive provides none of that.

That sounds like a must-ride swing set. It even sounds more thrilling than WindSeeker!!

We'll I think that if they decide to get rid of Flight Deck than Son of Beast needs to be thrown out with it and if they decide to get rid of Son of Beast than Flight Deck needs thrown out too. Even though I would like to see SoB stay, I still think that with both of those coasters removed, it would make a big space for a future coaster or park area.

I may be wrong but I think that the new stairlift for handicap on Flight of Fear is new for 2012. I also think that there are new or adjusted rules regarding ways for the disabled to get on rides.

If they did that, It would have to be bigger than not only Dominator's loop but also the expected roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain, Full Throttle's loop.

I definately agree with you. The new Luminosity stage looks so awful, it looks like Paramount installed it! It looks to me like a giant useless pile of steel bars that chased away Wildcat.
