I know this isn't a throwback photo but...... The throwback "video" of the day...... I remember watching this video for the first time.... It was sad, but I knew, deep down, that the park had something worthy to replace this badly behaved child...... ...I guess deep down, I was right, because she sure has behaved a WHOLE lot better than that beastly wooden offspring ever did.

Removing the international themes and styles on International Street had very little to do with "expansion".

As of last week, there has been no signs of 35th anniversary Beast merchandise, unfortunately.

Although "ride-count" isn't the most important thing to do, I still think it's pretty fun to keep track of how many rides you have gotten on each coaster. I'm currently at 17 rides on Banshee.

.....So was this this an edit? or did the storms last night actually do that?..... TheBEASTunchained, who is fairly confused at this point...

As you all know, the restraint system on Banshee is the first of its kind on any inverted roller coaster in the world. Though plagued with a few minor problems while in use on Gatekeeper and Wild Eagle, the restraints at this point have been adjusted and improved on both of those coasters. With those adjustments and improvements being made, Banshee seemed to be a complete success when it comes to the restraint system used. With the recent success of the above mentioned B&M restraint system on Banshee, would it be possible to implement this system on already existing B&M inverted coasters? Do you think any parks would be interested in making such a change to an inverted coaster? From experience on other B&M inverted coasters, I can definitely say that these restraints have a huge impact on overall ride experience. Anyway, I was just curious as to what you all think about this?

For the first time, in a long time, Banshee has finally laid her head to sleep...... No LED's on the lift hill, no fog, and probably no effects at all. The only thing to be seen during the night was her special edition SlingShot night-light near her lift..... (Image captured from Kings Island's Banshee Construction Cam) Rest peacefully. You have a long weekend ahead of you.

Also keep in mind that there was a certain target market in mind while deciding to place this noodle. While the target market in mind could be a very broad and wide range of people, it is always there. This large noodle will bring in revenue for both Kings Island and Kraft, which is the point of placing it in the park.

On the general Thrill Rides page on visitkingsisland.com, The Beast is still listed as being a Fast Lane Plus attraction, while Banshee is listed as not being a part of the Fast Lane lineup at all. Just a minor mistake that I thought I'd point out.

Absolutely wonderful job with this documentary on Banshee. It is very well put together and some of the shots you got of the train soaring through the batwing element are amazing. Nice job Jordan.
