Which part collapsed? When was this? How far along was this is the construction process?

I did ride it 3 times post-loop. All 3 times were on the night 3 days previous to SoB's final day, so I am very fortunate I got to ride. I loved that thing and would've ridden it so much more in the future, but unfortunately that can't happen. I do agree, however, that it was the roughest coaster I've been on besides Mean Streak.

I vaguely remember the FoF cameras being in use. I believe that was the 2007 season.

Now, before everybody freaks out on NewDay420 for suggesting that, think about it. A couple of parks have lost their racing coasters from the 70's recently. Racer is most certainly not the most popular ride. I know that nostalgia runs deep with a lot of people (including me!) with it, but at some point it does need to go. For years we've suggested a repaint, retracking, or for one side to go backwards again. Yet, we see no changes.

Banshee never seems to have that huge line other coasters like FoF and Firehawk do. Really sad, but great because I can ride it as much as I want. I waited 3 and a half hours for it opening day, and wouldn't doubt that my waits since then combined on the other 27 rides wouldn't sum to 3 and a half hours.

1. B&M Giga - It's very likely. It's what KI is truly missing. 2. B&M Floorless - I wish we could get a nice floorless coaster with at least 6 inversions, possibly 200 ft., and I'd take some nice theming to it. Although Rougarou isn't anywhere near other floorless coasters, once I rode it, I fell in love and craved to get one at KI. Possible locations: Use SOB'S station and expand the walkway by Banshee with the removal/relocation of EXtreme Skyflyer, or (hopefully not) replace Vortex.

Rather have many of B&M's other beautiful coasters rather than recreate Firehawk. There's absolutely nothing wrong with Firehawk as it is. I voted Vekoma Flying Dutchmans because I haven't even riden a B&M flyer .

Hopefully in a couple of years, KI will see what Carowinds did (is doing currently) and get inspired to get a couple of different flats.

^Agreed. Wishful thinking here, but a cam from the top of MT's lifthill looking down the hill would be perfect.

Welcome to KIC! I don't see anything huge for a little bit, but I'd like to see some more flat rides along with maybe a kids coaster. Judging by the OPEN land available (which there isn't a lot of), I'm assuming we'd see a removal BEFORE a huge coaster.

5. Work and life just got in the way this year. But hopefully many more visits will happen next year now that I have my license!

That's absolutely crazy! I love Banshee so much but I'm only at 26. Biggest count I actually have is Diamondback with 116, but I have to imagine Racer, Adventure Express, and possibly The Beast all surpass that number. Maybe even The Bat.
