Remember back in 2012 when Cedar Point announced that Disaster Transport was going to stop operations on the 31st of July? I know this is a Kings Island forum, but I'm just throwing that out there. Your right though, It's highly unlikely that Vortex is going anywhere. It's one of Kings Island signature rides.

My experience riding Banshee blew me away everytime I rode. I felt like at times I was on a spinning ride because of the quick turns, the drops, and the speed. What I really appreciate about this ride is the fact that it has a nice smooth gradual turn into the station unlike Raptor that slams you into the station on it's last turn. Don't get me wrong, Raptor is Awesome, but I'm only disliking the last turn it does. This ride never lets up! I have a feeling Banshee will be the longest Inverted Roller Coaster for a long time considering not too many Inverts are built too much anymore compared to when they first came out.

I love the Entrance to Banshee! When I first looked at it, I thought it was something from Universal studios Islands of Adventure because of the theming they put into it.

Anybody have an update of what the parking lot sign looks like now?

Seems like The Bat is turning more oranger everytime I look at the webcam. Are they painting the supports or is that staying the same color? Also It's good to see Banshee doing test runs. I didn't know they stopped.

I wonder why they are messing with the Kings Island sign? Anybody know?

Question: I haven't been on here in a while, I've been getting hooked on updates from Facebook mostly. Judging by the webcam, does Banshee have a load and unload station? I know they're building the station right now, but what is that other building next to it?

Judging by the distance between the first drop and the ground at the bottom, is there going to be enough room for the taller people without dragging their feet in the ground during the first drop?

Anybody know off hand how tall the lift hill is going to be?

No way! I think a lot of families would be saddened If Adventure Express was removed. I know for me growing up, it was one roller coaster that I loved riding at night. What was great about it this year was that you felt like you were riding in the dark. No lights around at all.

That sounds about right considering a lot of people think Vortex is rough. Hopefully we put a Floorless in.

I went on a day last year during the summer and the queue was full. I'm guessing for the average guest, they probably just wanted something to cool off on and not have to wait a long time for like you do with Thunder Canyon. On a hot day, that ride has a slow wait to it. This is why they built Shoot the rapids, to give guests something more to choose from. I just wish the downtime and maintenance issues would go away on it.
