I talked to a man who defined himself as a "real coaster nut" this afternoon in line for Flight of Fear. Apparently, Flight of Fear used to go 70 mph, but someone got hurt in the first season and the park reduced the launch speed to "45 or something like that." On the charter bus to Kings Island for our school trip today, I overheard a guy with a huge ego saying "Yeah on Mountain Space at Disney World it's pitch black and you go like 75 miles an hour. Then there's this Space Mission thing at Epcot..."

^Funny. I heard Zephyr is the best ride in Coney Mall today. Today I heard a lot of jokes from ride ops. "Did you hear about the circus fight? It was in tents." "Where does a cookie sleep? On a baking sheet!" "What did the nosy pepper do? Get jalapeño business!" The whole park seemed to be in a good mood today. Friendly staff everywhere, whether it be ride ops, sweeps, security, or food employees.

Have you taken a spin on Leviathan or Intimidator 305, Big Sexy? Both have been home runs in their respective parks, and both are far from "forceless" and a "waste of money."

As a former journalist. If you cant show your sources, then it cant be believed. Covering your source, for legal reasons is one thing. But that usually does not carry any weight. When a source is named, then its believable. Plus a source that leaks info is either not a good source or is trying to gain something. I do not want to get my source fired. I think that is a good reason to not disclose.Then he shouldn't have told you in the first place. Son of Beast did not come to a complete stop after the wood snapped. The train in the rosebowl continued along the track because no sensors showed a structural fault has occurred.
