Is Viking Fury going away?
Those were different times, back when people wanted thrills instead of both family thrills and thrills for junkies.

Kentucky Kingdom
I asked on Facebook when Twisted Twins would reopen and they still said 2016. So I guess that solves that mystery,

Tony Clark: "major announcement on 9/2 at high noon"
I would not count it as a new credit. You could say the same thing about The Beast with 4 row cars and now converted into 3 row cars. Is it a new credit?

How is this a "new" rollercoaster? You are just changing the trains and redoing some of the track to specifications for a Floorless Rollercoaster. New Coaster? I think not. New ride experience? Yes.

Bye, Bye Colossus. Damaged by fire.
Glad no one was hurt. Maybe Colossus wanted to die with dignity and not be turned into as steel rollercoaster?

So what woodie at Kings Island would you want to get an RMC treatment?
The Racer had some very long 20-25 minute long lines during some weekdays June & July.

SIX 2O15
The lack of flat rides was not true 10-12 years ago. What you where talking about was the "War on Lines" in 1999 put so many new flat rides and roller coasters into the park and SFGAd had a pretty good flat ride collection. But with them buying prototypes, low staffing, difficulty finding some rides and rides being relocated to other parks as "new attractions" they tore down a lot of them from 2004-2008. Another Premier Parks mistake...

Big Coasters In Future?
A part of the parking lot that's never used? Where dat? And Timberwolf? Where go Spirit Song? And the flagship Paramount Park is getting a giga. 2015. New, dramatically improved General Manager, too. Wait I always thought Kings Island was the flagship park of Paramount Parks.

I knew that you had to get 19.99 at gate in early August. They just put that at the end of the article on the Louisville Buisness Courier back then. Just now other news stations are reporting about the 19.99 gate price which is a little absurd considering Hurricane Bay is not open.

Kentucky Kingdom
How do you know it is not going to? Its in a better situation than Americana was in 2001 and SFKK was 2006-2010. While it is still doubtful I think it will survive for a little bit. Even if people flock to Holiday World next year there are so many people in the Louisville area that would visit KK due to its closer proximity. Yes KK does need to up their game but I would not say it cannot survive.

S&S 4D Free Spin coming to a major Amusement Park in 2015!
Maybe Kentucky Kingdom? Ed Hart was known to buy prototypes such as T2 and Quake from Vekoma in the 1990's and he also bought a prototype Hyper GTX Lightning Run this year. Maybe T2, Amphitheater and River Rapids are not the only thing new/returning and it would fit in with Kentucky Kingdoms budget with 7$ million. Hmmmm...

Kentucky Kingdom
Kentucky Kingdom has been out of the news as of late so I guess Ed Hart and his team have fixed up the problems that arose. I may visit their next year if I have a chance. Also the 1.0-2.5 million is like new rides and that kinda of stuff not for off season maintenance. Can I ask people a question? Is Kentucky Kingdom better off with Ed Hart than Six Flags/Premier Parks? If the answer is Yes thats great because Six Flags made one of the fastest growing amusment parks a dump and that is what I believe is the correct answer. If no then earlier in the Six Flags management the park was doing okay but once Shapiro came in and the horrific Superman Drop Tower incident and not adding but removing great attractions the park went WAY down hill. While I agree Kentucky Kingdom is not in the best situation I believe that is in a WAY better situation than it was from 2006-2010.

Kentucky Kingdom
Kentucky Kingdom is really going to need to up their game. With HW adding a LAUNCHED Wing Rider and them Fixing up T2 to T3, The Amphitheater and The Water Rapids coming back they need to add more than that to at least not be the loser of the surrounding markets in 2015. I think that while their attendance is going to increase next year, they need to start looking out for trouble. How about they add that 14 million $ that was originally proposed that (I think) was a B&M. Ed Hart is not looking to good right now but do not underestimate him. With Chang in 1997 Kentucky Kingdom added more than 400,000 more guests to 1.1 million. So if they did a Chang type thing and do not sell it right afterwords I think Kentucky Kingdom would be better off. Kentucky Kingdom I think is probably going to have another season next year. I am not so sure about 2016 though yet.
