Yeah, the hour ERT was sweet, we would make sure we got up early to get to the park in time for it, now it's not such a big deal. Then we got teased with Fun Perks, just to have that taken away, yet the price keeps going up for our passes. I have to listen to my wife complain about losing Fun Perks and getting pretty much nothing in return, leading me into talking her into getting passes the last two seasons (she'd rather walk around the zoo or better yet a mall anyways). Complaining is contagious, but I already convinced her into another year of passes, so me and the kids are safe for another season!

Skips? Wright State must be...an interesting place. Terp, who discovered at university, and in life, that just showing up is often 98 percent of the battle, or more. Absence, on the other hand... Skips? Terp is still....incredulous. I tell young and some older folks all the time that just showing up in life can change your entire life's future. I once lost a good job as a young man to another man who couldn't do half the work I got done in a day, but my boss told me something I never forgot and have used to much success ever since. He told me he was letting me go because the other young man never missed a day and I wasn't as reliable. Guess who shows up early and leaves late every day- me! Keep your T-shirt, I have to keep the next guy from wanting my job more than me.

You can buy them online ahead of time, but I always check out the ride lines before I've purchased them in the past. 180 dollars is no small chunk of change just to ride Banshee several times ( the only reason 'I plan' to buy them). If we get there for ERT and can get a few rides in ( I doubt it) I might keep my money in my pocket until the Fourth of July where Fastlane Plus will be a must.

You use your passes during the season while the payments are taken from your account once a month. I used it last season, it was very convenient.

I doubt Fastlane will have much impact on your t-shirt Friday, many folks such as myself wont be purchasing Fastlane Plus until Saturday, when I'm off work and have an entire day at the park. I plan on taking the wife and leaving the kids with g-ma ( Kings Island doesn't open for our kiddies until the following weekend ). I must remember to distract the wife when purchasing Fastlane Plus so she doesn't hear how much it's gonna cost me! " Just run my card, don't say the price...cough cough cough".

Funny, I haven't read any posts about anyone getting upset, just people posting about people getting upset when nobodies posted being upset yet. It makes perfect sense not to have DB during ERT along with Banshee, I thought about that after I recalled ERT at KI was only 30 minutes again this season.

My guess would be Banshee and DB going ERT all season, perhaps other coasters in a rotation throughout the season.

Anything to keep one more person from going towards a bin, rock on fanny pack friends...rock on.

I'm pretty sure Young Stud was debating on getting a fanny pack after much debate, maybe he will show up at KI this season rocking his fanny with his famous t-shirt. This would bring a balance to the world of fanny pack crews verse the 'too cool for you' folks.

Really? I surrender myself to the trees and fresh air when I ride The Beast, sigh, can't wait for this season!

My two year old ( soon to be three), last May she was being so good riding all the kiddie rides with her big sis, and the wife and I were shocked how she was so behaved! Then we felt her head and she had a fever! That's not the good part, the good part is how well Kings Islands staff took care of her in Planet Snoopy, gave her and our 5 year old pop cycles and let us stay with them in the air condition until we got her fever down. My wife is an RN so they all chit chatted until we left for home. I will always remember how sweet and kind they treated my family. Feels great when strangers treat your family like their family, I wont forget.

Diversion? No? All just a diversion? So? I still ride when the park rides!

We celebrate our anniversary (almost) every year at Kings Island on the Fourth of July. We get a babysitter, hotel with shuttle or cab ride for ours and your safety, and must have Fastlane passes! Last year we didn't make it because I worked and my son was floating in her belly, he is now my favorite little living bobble head.

I was single until age 33, the grass is always greener on the other side. Both have there goods and bads. I couldn't wait to settle down, now I call my single years the good ol days! You Mad Bro?

My kids beg every visit to go to DA after the first time we went, we really enjoy it and it's worth every penny. Take your time and read about the Dinosaurs, you might learn something while feeling like your in a land far from the rest of the park.

I wear flip-flops when walking from slide to slide! Trust me on this, you should too.

When I'm watching the Winter Olympics while reading this thread. I wanna ride Banshee, DB,Racer,Beast, you get the idea.

I anticipate a 7 hour wait for Banshee on opening day and all weekend. I wouldn't go if I were any of you!

Diamondback and Invertigo were ERT in 2012. Not that it matters but I would have Banshee and Firehawk and or Flight of Fear on the Plus and put The Beast back on Fast Lane.
