Trip Report 7-6
Here's the breakdown of the whole day. Weather: A friend and I arrived at around 11:30, it was sprinkling. Through the whole day, the rain was off and on. Keeping guest in and out of buildings. For an hour or so, it got very humid and hot, but went away very quickly. At one point in time, we marathon'd Flight Deck. The first time, no rain. Second time (just the normal load and unload, no crowd) it poured on us, after that ride, it stopped. Crowd: Very slow for a Saturday, or for any day. Probably the best day to go if you don't mind some rain here&there. I mean, at around 10:50PM, we decided to get inline for The Beast. We waited twenty minutes or less per ride, riding a total of 3-4 times. Rides: well, we had the crappy power surge at around 4-5pm which lasted an hour or two so we took this time to lay down on the brick wall in front of the KI Theatre. Employees: some were nice, some were impatient, some were just flat out rude. But I can't complain I guess. All in All: Great day, even with the rain here and there, and the power surge. Anyone else there wanna add?

Firehawk does so, adding lockers right by it to make the loading/unloading more efficient and neater. While I agree with some of you who say that ride ops CAN be lazy, I do see a lot of them working at a very quick pace, while doing a very good job at it. And sometimes you do have the bigger guest having to be squeezed in, and refuses to accept the fact that he's just to dang big for the ride. For Christ sakes they have a seat outside the queue to see if you can fit comfortably on it. In conclusion, workers can be lazy, but don't blame them all.

While waiting to be dispatched on Delirium, the lady working the controls (didn't get a name, sorry) said it was going to be something big from what she's heard. Not saying what she said was right.

7/6/13 Park Power Outage
Firehawk was down, at the final break waiting to go back into the station, the red train I believe was stuck and the yellow train didn't even make it back into the station all the way. A lot of rides were down for the most part. People who got stuck on Invertigo got a free Fast Lane and pizza (a bunch of kids were yelling it). That's all I know. Still a great day to ride rides. Rain had an effect on the crowd

When I left the park last night (12:25AM) it didn't seem to bad. I finally got to take a look at construction, I think my favorite view was on Drop Tower, although, AE had a great view along with Top Gun (Flight Deck, but to me it will ALWAYS be Top Gun) I'd have to say that the construction looks a lot bigger in person. I was very shocked at how much room they had to work with!

Going alone to Kings Island
Going alone (as a 16 year old) I tend to just meet new people. I met a friendly group of three who needed an extra rider and ended up asking me to hangout with them the rest of the day. I've met older people (20-25). More importantly I met my current girlfriend.

Seems like B&M has very thrilling, yet efficient, rides.

From what I've learned, fireworks are cancelled due to very low clouds, hitting just 400 feet above ground. Low clouds indicates a chance of storms and other miscellaneous weather related issues. They were simply going with what's safe. Fortunately for me, the fireworks a half a mile down the road still went on, didn't even have to leave my front porch.

Catpohl, I understand that you're new here (unless you're a long term spectator), and I think we've had our fair share of double posting, but please try to avoid quadruple posting. You also 1 word post in one of them. Also, decoding is impossible when you guys beat me to the punch D:< Also, I've been thinking about the tweet the said something about fire and the scarecrow, I have a feeling it's gonna be something with the fireworks for Fourth of July. Unless we already decoded that.

I'd like to myself a favor and go on tours this year. I missed Spirit Song, which bothered me for quite some time.

Feel the grip of Vortex! (and other ramblings)
Kings Island looked so... Different. IN A GOOD WAY! I love how it is now, but I think I would prefer to grow up in the era.

You think Don would ever let guest see the inside during some random tour?

About the bolt barn (can't quote, stupid mobile), I never knew that was there. It's amazing what a kid can learn when he listens (or read in this case). My question is are the bolts still there?

Starting to Decode 2014
I'd love to, but being a kid who can't drive yet and relies on his uncle (who works at the jail by KI) to take him, lives in Dayton (a 4 hr drive to CP), and goes to summer school, it's kind of out. But yes the weather seems to be better in Sandusky.

Most Embarrasing Thing That Happened To You At KI
Sorry for double posting but thought of another embarrassing story. Last year, while waiting to enter the station, there is always that pesky wasp or dragon fly that flies around. It seemed to find its way around me, and me being allergic to just about any stinging insects, I panicked a lot on the inside while doing my best to stay calm on the out. I managed to end up fainting. I woke up being pulled out of the seat.

Most Embarrasing Thing That Happened To You At KI
Seems we have some in common, that's how me and my current GF started dating. And I typically don't go to KI without her, and 2 other friends (double dating is always fun), unless we want guy time there to do and scream random things.
