Not there. No chainsaws at all this year. I guess there was a safety issue last year with them somewhere.

So I've noticed many of the trip reports have had less than amazing reports of Slaughterhouse. Myself and the many other members of this forum who work there would love to know......what can we do to improve your experience? What are we doing right? Wrong? Some people are just ***ks and refuse to have fun like normal people and think it's hilarious to hurt us.

Not a big fan of the ride anyways so I say tear them down, scrap 'em and use the money to help pay for a new Kings Island coaster .

Heard the Blood Drums guys rehearsing last night while we were getting ready to get our scare on and I gotta say they sounded awesome! I am stoked they are playing right next to our house so we can hear them every now and then.

Those would be the Creepers. And the knee pads are just standard knee pads with a small metal plate added to make the sparks. However I do not believe they are doing the metal plates anymore due to some safety hazard or something.

Yes you can still get in with a platinum pass. They are offering admission to the Haunt as a perk if you buy a 2013 pass now.

I find it interesting how every season they advertise zombies roaming the park, and yet to my knowledge we dont have any zombie roamers, nor zombie mazes. Correct me if Iam wrong.

I also will be working the haunt this year. Did it for the first time last year and loved it so here I am again!

Like Hufflepuff? Or Ravenclaw? I thought your personal favorite was taken in to consideration, as well. By all means ask if you can be placed in a certain house/maze! I'm just saying that they usually give less option to first years. That's how it was for me last year. I wanted to be in Massacre Manor but they said they needed people for Wolf Pack. Hence I was put there. Loved working Wolf Pack though!

As long as you're not a convicted felon or sex offender, and you're available to work at least most of the nights, you should get the job. Main part of the audition is.........................waiting. After that, some paperwork, you go into a room, they tell you to scream and maybe howl like a wolf or something to that nature. Then they assign you a house (since you are a first year, they assign you house. When you come back following years they ask where you want to go.) and then you are done, besides getting an appointment for a costume fitting. Simple stuff really. Let me be the first to welcome you into the family of demented souls at Kings Island!
