  1. I'm just trying to clarify what you said, by CGI did you mean GCI as in Great Coasters International? or is there a company that I've never heard of called CGI?
  2. ^ Do you mean suspended, like Flight Deck, or inverted, like Raptor at CP, because we definitely need an inverted coaster. No park needs 2 suspended coasters.
  3. It's HUSS and Paramount's fault, HUSS makes giant versions of smaller rides, those giant versions always have heavy amounts of downtime, look at The Crypt and Delirium (Does MaXair have as much downtime as its clone?), Paramount was just stupid enough to buy both of them.
  4. My friend Beef and I were in the middle of the FoF queue when the storm hit ( lucky us). By the time that the storm cleared so many people had left the building that we were in the spaceship part of the queue. I thought that the staff did a great job keeping the crowds informed and under control.
  5. The only problem that we would have with going to BGW is the cost, there are 4 of us going so that's almost $300. The only reason that we could even go to KD is the fact that 3 of us have Platinum passes so only one would have to pay. I was also wondering would the fact that we are probably going on a Saturday mean that there will be more crowds? or will the crowds still manage to be pretty light?
  6. It's probably just a combination of the obscene heatwave that hit this summer and the maintenance paths for Adventure Express and Flight Deck.
  7. The front/back are the best seats on Invertigo. The front is also the best seat on Flight Deck, Mantis, Raptor, and The Beast. I actually got to ride The Beast in the front for the first time on Friday and it was amazing.
  8. Even when a decision has been made how do we know that it will be made public? Maybe CF will make the decision and just go through with it without telling anyone.
  9. I love the ride, it isn't extreme and intense but its fun and has good positive gs and good airtime if you are in the right seat. It's also been very smooth when I've ridden it.
  10. ^ A Dime is worth 10 cents, there are 10 drops.
  11. Thanks GYK, I will definitely try to ride as much as possible, I completely forgot that they have their own version of Crypt and I also overlooked their FoF and WindSeeker because I thought they would be very similar. I also don't really like Drop rides but I will check theirs out to see how different it is from ours.
  12. I am going on vacation the week of July 14th with my family and a friend, we are going to be stopping by Kings Dominion for a day trip. I was wondering if anyone had been there and had tips on things to ride, things to eat, and things to do. Everyone that is going rides rides of all sorts and is tall enough to ride everything. I already plan on riding the following. Intimidator 305, Dominator, Volcano: The Blast Coaster, Hurler, Berserker, Shockwave, and Anaconda. Are there any other rides that we should ride? Is there a specific order that things should be ridden? and Should we get fast passes?
  13. It's also on top of the lawsuits that it has caused.
  14. I love the second turn on Flight Deck when you fly over the station, and the camel backs on Magnum at CP (in row 3 only).
  15. My family stayed at the Hampton in Milan on 250 but that might be a crowded road since you aren't going the first weekend in June.
  16. I would love to see a larger variety of t-shirts, maybe some with retro logos and logos for defunct rides like King Cobra or The Bat. I would also like a larger amount of poster designs.
  17. Oh my god, that sounds terrible. I hope that this doesn't turn him off of coasters. If I was that age and that happened to me I'd be pretty scared of rides.I hope he is okay.
  18. I would love to see KI getting an Intamin or GCI wooden coaster and I think it would definitely be possible to get a GCI or Intamin but maybe not a Gravity Group. Am I the only one that has noticed that GG has only worked with small independent parks and no large chain parks?
  19. I would love a small but forceful B&M invert like the Batman clones or a large dive machine like Griffon.
  20. Ah, I thought that sounded quite warm. Even for the deep south.
  21. Who said they're lying? They are being Truthful, while taking their time about the decision , they aren't lying.
  22. Wow, It's that hot down there? I used to live in Marietta and it only got that hot a couple of times in the 5 years I was there.
  23. Sounds like Soak City is pretty nice. I've only been to the park once this year and didn't get to go to SC. Glad to hear you had a good time.
  24. Even though it would be shut down and labeled as a torture device, I voted yes because I think it would be one of the funniest and most interesting rides possible.
  25. My favorites are are the following, and no, I have never ridden The Voyage. 1. Mean Streak, the track work that was done to it over the off-season was amazing. The ride is almost smooth compared to how rough it has been in the past. I like it because it is well paced and fun with a good layout and a good amount of airtime. 2.The Beast, it is a classic with a very fast paced and exciting layout that feels like it's never going to end. 3.Blue Streak, A very fun little coaster with (maybe) the best airtime I've ever experienced. 4.The Georgia Cyclone, It was my first wooden roller coaster and it holds many fond memories, even though it feels like it's trying to kill you.
