Here's a crazy idea: maybe it's a much better go-kart track to replace the piece of crap they call "King's [sic] Island Motor Speedway" (i.e. Thunder Alley).

As soon as I saw that post, it reminded me of this: There's sure to be many conversations along those lines about this ride.

All I get is a 404 Page Not Found error.

i believe there are still some in the que for beast. they are only on during haunt to my knowledge. i dont think they even play sound anymore. Last year, when I would get in line for The Beast, I usually, but not always, saw one of the two TVs in the station on ESPN, but (IIRC) without audio. The other TV was always off, and sometimes they were both off.

This is why I love lurking. This discussion is far better entertainment than any video game I've ever played (though that's partly because I suck at video games). Keep it up. Oh, you want my opinion? I'm not one of the conspiracy theorists. The park has said at least twice now (once through Bodda and once on Facebook) that they are not closing Action Theater, and I will believe that unless and until the park announces otherwise.

Seconded! Having never had the opportunity to ride SoB, I would love to see it fixed. I also agree about recaR; I never got the chance to ride that either, so I'd love to see it back. Now if only there was a way they could legally bring it back...

Exactly. It's useful as a starting point for your own research, but don't believe everything you read on it. I don't have a Wikipedia account, but I've done some vandal fighting anonymously when I was bored, so I've seen some of the stuff people will try to slip in. As a side note, referring to Wikipedia as "Wiki" is technically incorrect; a "wiki" is any freely editable website, of which there are thousands upon thousands. ~~~~

Depends on what time of the year. This Saturday, we got to ride it 12 times during the hour. On the average weekday during the summer, how is it then? (Not surprised about the 12 rides, because Haunt isn't until 7.) Weekdays during the summer? IIRC, DB was usually about a one- to two-train wait during ERT. No clue about The Beast, though.
