Seems that in recent years, I haven't seen as many queues spilling out onto the midway as I did during the 90's. Why is that? Improved capacity? More rides and a better waterpark to spread out the crowds? Some combination of these?

Because smoking is cool. That's why all the cool kids are doing it. By "cool," I mean stupid. And by "cool kids," I mean all us old farts who are paying dearly for rebelling against our parents during our wasted youths.

Unless they remove it this season, there's already a smoking area in front of Banshee, right by the entrance of The Bat.

Once the park opens, we're talking about the area that's likely going to be the busiest walkway in the park due to Banshee. Bottlenecking that for construction of a flat would be a logistical nightmare.

Yes, but nickels are no longer as crucial as they were a few years ago. However, Penny Lane will forever be in my ears and in my eyes.

If that's the final color scheme, I like it a lot more than the previously announced all-black trains. Not for theming, but for general aesthetics.

Likely Stunt Crew Grill. It's already set up to make fried food and it's not a popular dining option amongst guests. Ice Scream Zone, on the other hand, probably doesn't have the necessary equipment or space and seems to be popular with guests. Plus, it's named Ice Scream Zone and is right next to Banshee. How perfect is that?

If the circle becomes a smoking area, I can see the old smoking area by Club Blood being where the Banshee lockers go. Key word: If.

My wife and I usually go to the Skyline across I-71 after visiting the park. But If I'm by myself, I'll go to the Taco Bell there on the corner and eat in my car. I'm told that there's now a Marion's Pizza in Mason. I'll have to make a point to swing in there one night after visiting the park.

It's going to be a new shaded smoking area. They'll call it Action Gardens.

The one that always bugs me is when "definitely" is misspelled as "defiantly." My favorite example: "I defiantly agree with you." How do you agree with someone while defying them at the same time?

Bring non-riders with you. Take some time to find activities at the park they would enjoy and in exchange, ask them to hold your stuff. You'll get to experience new aspects of the park as well. And if that's not an option, don't be afraid to split the party. This isn't D&D.

If you go to a photo studio and are shown a preview of your pictures, do you pull out your phone and snap a picture of the screen? Why should an on-ride photo be any different?

I voted for leaving the park, but I just now remembered that I read in a book once that riding The Beast during a tornado allows you to travel through time. So, I'd ride The Beast, then go back to that morning and not go to KI.
