  1. That’s sort of unfair man. Someone has to be the main host. It’s been one episode. If you want to do one it’s not hard man. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Unsolicited offer of help: I run a podcast network of 3 different shows. If you need help or suggestions about equipment or how to record, or how to edit, or broadcast live on YouTube or set of a Roku channel etc, I can help ya out. Podcast.speechscience.org for proof^ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Look to the Wilds out near Muskingum County. You can ride in an open truck in Lion Country.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. There used to be a turnpike ride in that area. I want more trees and green space. Get some shade. Maybe some fountains. Help cool the air down a bit. No more smoking areas in the middle of walkways/paths. I get that smokers shouldn’t have to walk 100 miles but smack dab is terrible. Fix he parking lot. More things for grandma and grandpa Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. And without getting too political the rise of the flag in preference was also around the same time of civil rights marches.... I think it’s just the sign of the times. Move on and let the past go, kill it if you must. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. That is correct.... I sort of hope that CF would purchase the land back both there and the current Lodge....
  7. Thanks for the mention about workers being staffed at different positions. I thought I was remembering it wrong. I recall an employee standing (maybe sitting) after the first helix before you go down into the preloop... it always was weird to see a person that close to the ride. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I did my best to do it quickly in photo shop.... evidently the hand drawn map is not to any sense of scale....
  9. Thanks I love original sources. It’s the skeptic in me:). Plus reading in the news papers at the time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Would love to see the source materials and citations for this Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. According to the article it sounds like ODA is ducking questions..... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Wow. That much water damage and ice damage. That may just be cheaper to claim insurance and knock it down Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. https://www.10tv.com/article/ice-forms-outside-closed-fort-rapids-water-park-after-water-pipe-bursts-inside Here is some video of it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. That’s a haunting photo. And it’s weird but it’s like the building just gave up as well. I secretly hope someone gets photos from the inside as well. The outside photo is cool though how the ice is showing up outside. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. You probably already have it (and hey fellow genealogy buff) but here’s her link https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/15427374/missouri-jane-galeenor Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. They may not notice little things such as a gun that doesn’t make sound but they probably do notice targets that don’t work or effects that don’t work, lights that are out, or peeling paint.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. thats fair on the ROI but that logic would almost make it seem like KI should never build a giga because of whats next. KI will build what is needed to attract the guests they want to.... Theme on many rides (Adventure Express, for example) the not always working parts of Boo Blasters Paint on Racer Lights on Racer Parking Lot Food Service (in general) just to name a few off the top of my head
  18. I do not disagree with your sentiment but do not allow past decisions to try and prognosticate the current. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I currently host a podcast. I could advise on how to do it if needed...... call on me...
  20. my top 5.... 1. Fix the parking lot: trams, repaved, and relined.... (yes I know this will never happen but its a dream list) 2. Retheme the areas and unify them: basically return the park to its roots where each area had unique music, food, sounds, shows, etc. 3. improve the food quality. Some places knock it out, but most do not sadly. Currently its not terrible, but it could be better. Same with customer service in these areas. 4. Mascots in other areas of the park, not just the kids area. Its a big park. Lets have Snoopy be seen by The Racer. Charlie Brown blasting people on WWC 5. Add a family dark ride. Something that is fun, a people mover, holds up well. Doesnt have to be a return of Phantom (doubt that will happen), but something that is worth reriding.
  21. If its done well, then people would love it. If its done half way or served cafeteria it would not be a hit....
  22. This may have been said before but they need to really overhaul the sound in the Festhaus. Tinker's show was amazing... but the audio echoes mightly bad in there. I noticed it during the summer as well. It feels like the music is too loud compared to the voices....
  23. probably announced at the same time they announce the "order the meal plane before the price goes up?"
  24. It means that we should treat the subject with respect. Nothing more nothing less. While it is a part of park history, it helps to be reminded that this is a person who actually lived and was loved in this area. Just lets not judge the dead or the living. Agreed and thank you. I just dont like that on here, we all can get a bit carried away and forget that we are talking about someone with a family.
  25. Let’s not forget this man was someone’s son. Someone’s friend. Etc. Every time this gets rebrought back up someone’s family or friend may come across it. And any posts you publish reflect directly on the type of person you are and the type of people we have on this site. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
