SHOOT THE RAPIDS at Cedar Point
Wow CF sure pulled a fast one on us! Like it or not, which I personally am kind of disappointed, this truly does round out the CP lineup

True but outside of the local area and people like us who knows about Knoebels. Don't get me wrong it looks like a great park but it's not in the same scrutiny that Uni or even KI is in.

Haunt 2009's Web Site Is Alive
Yeah that's what I've been using Haunts for ERT (Extra Ride Time) Ohh.. and I like the website but it should be known that CP used the exact same design last year

But... For the people that do come to USF will go home telling there friends/relatives all about HRRR and everyone knows the best advertising is word of mouth.

Well for an Orlando ride that's unheard of. But... Let's get back to Son of Beast.

Haunt 2009's Web Site Is Alive

Haunt 2009's Web Site Is Alive
And SOB was cleared to reopen... Hmmm.... If I were to go in one haunt what do you think it should be? Ive never been in any but am considering it.

The Son of Beast Discussion Thread
If KI is so worried about not announcing a possible return of SOB because they may not have it ready why do other parks announce their coasters early? I mean look at HRRR. It was supposed to open in the Spring of this year but it might not open until the Fall.

Was Son of Beast open for Haunt last year?

flight of Fear Queue Blackout
I agree it would kind of fit in with the whole wierd/alien tech theme. I also think Crypt's queue is a little dark... I can barely make my way through the queue and I know it pretty well.

Intresting CP Tweet
Hmm... The CP website is up again and just on a whim I went to see if the Whyte Lightning page is up and per the CP coaster URL http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/park/ride...tning/index.cfm it takes you to an error page while if you make up a random one it takes you to a different kind of error screen

Yes. My before and after picture is on page 35 most of the way down the page. Just trying to help

Action Zone
I think a Euro-Fighter would fit really well in Action Zone. If they took out Thunder Alley and put the queue and station in that space they could have it intertwine with SOB assuming it's still there. It would offer some really nice head choppers.

A Couple of Random Questions
He said inches as in significant sinking not natural sinking

A Couple of Random Questions
1. I don't know 2. 4 3. It doesn't that's just an old rumor 4. I know they do it before the park opens for the season

Hopefully no one... I've ridden Judge Roy Scream at SFOT, also built by RCCA, and didn't find it nearly as bad as SOB. The funny thing is JRS was built 20 years earlier.

KIC: What Happened?
Come on (some) people don't diss Terpy. He's a reason that makes this site great and a reason that sets this apart. Very few forums have a member that is both wise and funny at the same time.

Predictions for rides in Planet Snoopy?
What was so great about Beastie as opposed to FOC? I didn't go to KI when it was Beastie

Kids Area
I agree. Snoopy and Peanuts is far more recognizable and iconic but.. Nick is by far more relevant to the target audience mostly because Snoopy comes on a few times a year but sometimes, it seems, Spongebob and Dora are on 24 hours. Therefore with more exposure to Nick it is the better choice for a kid's area designed for kids (not adults). But if it comes between a Nick area or a new ride or coaster down the road a definitely choose the ride.

Kids Area
I voted for Nick U. I think that Peanuts is one of the most recognizable franchises for licensing a close third to Disney's old movies and Looney Tunes. However, I think Nick is a better choice for right now as it is many, many, times more relevant for today's kids. Ask any 3 or 4 year old what their favorite TV show is and I would wager they would either say Dora or Spongebob. Very few would say Peanuts. Just my 2 cents
