  1. JAHill posted a topic in KI Polls
I pondered this question today and thought I'd poll the forums about it. This isn't limited to KI, but anywhere. (This may be a difficult question to some because some people memorize the layouts of every ride. Ever.) Which do you think is a more fun coaster experience? Knowing the layout when you are riding, or not knowing the layout when riding? Pros of knowing: You can do something to insure something fun will happen on an upcoming element. (Ex: Moving in your seat for a more comfortable experience on an upcoming hill) Pros of not knowing: Element of surprise (Not much else to say on this one.)
  2. 10 dollars per person.
  3. I wouldn't think it would be up for too long before someone complains. Just like the Vick scene set up in a previous Haunt event.
  4. It makes me wonder if anyone has asked an Eifel Tower ride op about the Johnny story. I wonder what their response would be.
  5. It will be really weird if Scooby leaves the park. He's had a presence in the park since grand opening.
  6. I randomly pictured a ride-through KI museum. Retheme the facade of the building to that of a museum, then have the same ride system go through rooms with various KI props and things from around the years. Each scene could be dedicated to a certain coaster or era in KI history.
  7. I shouldn't have asked that. I was wondering if I would still have to exit the park at 6 on the 26th. Originally we were supposed to exit at 6pm and pay separately for Haunt then wait for the park to reopen. But since KI doesn't want to close for an hour before Haunt, I don't know if we will have to.
  8. Does this mean they'll close early on the 2 nights in September?
  9. I wonder how many of the younger visitors recognize the older characters in the park. I'm pretty sure neither of those shows even air anymore.
  10. http://whatsupontheisland.mypodcast.com/20...rly-232218.html Explained here.
  11. Welph, I'm sure kicking myself. I never rode it because of the reputation it had so I avoided it. I was planning to ride it this year.
  12. ^ I do too, but Silver Streak is blue. http://www.rcdb.com/734.htm?p=1625
  13. DiamondbackLover, I don't really know how to say this without being blunt. But you're making yourself look like an idiot right now. If you're still here in the future posting, you'll probably remember this and feel so embarrassed.
  14. I doubt Cody would direct a thread at a single member. Even though they unnecessarily posted this: http://74.125.47.132/search?q=cache:9Ot6GY...lient=firefox-a Just sayin'.
  15. Back around 2007 when I read the forums and didn't post, it was great. Everyone was posting common sense topics, and there were rarely ever any argumentative topics. However, over the last year I have seen KIC become a dysfunctional forum. People started arguments, people began posting nonsense and things just got crazy. Not to mention there has been spam over the past few months. It's getting really weird to see such a good site turn into chaos. I agree 100% with what you said, Cody. Can't we all just get along?
  16. The park is closed to the public because that's Toyota's buyout day. I'll be at the park that day, too. Haunt is from 7pm to 1am that day for the public. The Toyota event ends at 6pm.
  17. ^ I didn't see that picture until a few hours ago.
  18. I'm an amateur. Awesome.
  19. Seeing that portion of the video made me feel very uncomfortable.
  20. "I take thee - to have, and to hold, from this day forward, for better for worse, for richer for poorer, in sickness and in health... well.. erm.. I mean.. when you're broken down and not broken down..."
