  1. I would think they are getting closer, but I'm not sure if cycle testing will begin today, but it might.
  2. The park was very busy but it was still a fun day. I was stuck on Beast's second lift in the morning for about 20 minutes. The employees told us there was a power failure so it took them a little while to get the ride operational. I'm excited for WindSeeker though, it looks great in person!
  3. Pictures and video of Cheetah Hunt completing full circuit testing ( Not 100% speed though) : Update
  4. I wonder if it will be required to use a locker? If so, it would be nice if they allowed you to use them free of charge( like Universal does with Hollywood Rip Rid Rockit and Forbidden Journey ) for the time you are on WindSeeker. Highly unlikely, but it would be nice.
  5. I believe I see lockers installed on the right of the screen.
  6. I see those too. It' starting to take shape nicely.
  7. It's been a nice weather day for them so far and it's good to see so much activity. The weather is supposed to turn ugly, which will slow their progress, more than likely.
  8. Some seats are visible now. Shouldn't be too much longer before they are attached, hopefully.
  9. I just noticed that also. It's ironic that when I clicked on this thread, the error occurred!
  10. Thanks for sharing your trip. Your daughter is adorable and looks like she had a great time!

Unless you want an enormous headache. The vertical ift hill was really the only good part of that ride. Great photos by the way!
  12. KI posted this video of Diamondback testing: I couldn't embed the video.
  13. I'd be interested to hear which control panels you think are removed in the off season. That's what I was thinking too.
  14. I guess we will be Guinea Pigs then!
  15. It will be interesting to find out how reliable WindSeeker will be. I'm most probably wrong, but WindSeeker will be the tallest of it's kind correct? I know King's Island has built first's before like Delirium and Drop Zone and I know Delirium specifically had growing pains as well as Drop Zone. I'm just wondering if anyone here has any insight on how reliable this will be? I realize that Mondial and all companies research and test their products thoroughly, but I'm just curious.
  16. Another view of the 5th piece from KI's twitter: http://twitpic.com/4d718y
  17. Is it just me or from that angle does it look like the tower is leaning toward the left? Just kidding. This tower will be massive!
  18. If I were a betting man, I would say that's an access door for maintenance personnel.
  19. Thanks for sharing! I'm always amazed at the engineering and machinery.
  20. KI said something big was coming, and from the first picture of the dinosaur, it looks like the statues/animitronics will be big. KI didn't over hype this at all. Some people wanted to believe it was going to be a roller coaster, and it looks like it won't be. People have mentioned this, and I agree, people need to be happy that they are near an amusement park.
  21. Well said! It will be entertaining to see what reactions are on these boards Friday.
  22. It was a great looking ride. Hopefully it will return to some of it's former glory.
  23. I agree. I don't think it's a big deal which rides are open early...the park doesn't have to provide ERT at all. It's nice that they do though.
  24. ^ I love their expressions in that picture!
