I want to bid so badly on a ride but with the way life is going now, I can't. I really do hope though that they raise a lot of money for this cause. I see the amount of the first rider going well over 800. I would pay it if I could afford it.

I sure hope it is just due to the weather.

Like I said, a new flat ride would be great. But I really think they need to focus on some theming. Like the Crypt needs a good over haul. Some of the coasters (flight deck) could use an upgrade. Paint and such. I wouldn't look for a big new ride for a few years.

People need to start searching more... Hey I think it is a good place to ask that question. I have been wondering that also.

I always thought the shoe idea and Delruium was very clever This is my fave. I love the ride and this just made it so much better. Made me laugh a bit too

I figured I lived to far away to have anything like this. heck I dont even remember seeing anything on my news about KI getting DB....... It's so sad to live so far away from KI.

anyone have any idea when tickets will be ready to go on sale. Im also ready to see a schedule of events. Does anyone know when they will release all the info.... Im excited!

Same here, I cant wait to see em'. Looks like it is going to rain most of the day by what weather.com says. I hope that does not put a damper on moving on.

Last I knew they had this. Me being a parent of 4 with 3 of them being under the age of 5, it helps alot. I hope they didnt do away with this.

I have only been to the park once when it was that busy. I remember I have been to the park and it was so dead we walked on to Vortex 6 times in a row.

I just realized where you were from. Hi neighbor..lol yeah driving that far we both would have to make the best on a crowed day. It just really sucks driving that far and not getting to ride as much as you would like due to long lines.

I absolutely agree with this statement. You sum up that clean feeling perfectly! One thing people have overlooked is that the price point and attractiveness of Kings Island can bring a much different crowd than what the Disney parks are privileged to! Cheap tickets can be bought online for a one day or two day adventure at Kings Island, however except for off-peak times Disney is able to employ a Premium pricing plan. This has great influence on the makeup of people coming through your gates! A greater portion of a person is invested in the experience at a Disney park by way of their checkbook than at any other park. Anyone willing to make that investment is more apt to respect the park and keep it clean! That said, since Cedar Fair took over, Kings Island has become a much cleaner park than it had been under Paramount/CBS. Everyday I walk through the gates, I am reminded of how lucky we are to have a park like Kings Island so close to us! couldnt have said it any better! I agree completely with this

And that is why I pack a cooler and eat in the parking lot... I dont ever play the games. I just love the rides.

The Racer was running 1 1/2 - 2 hours, according to what people were telling me. Most of the big coasters were 4+ hours. Even the flats that are normally walk-on were 1+ hour waits. The speed slides (now are the ones that you slide down on a blue mat) that I could see from the locker rental counter in the water park were lined all the way down the stairs and onto the ground. Probably well over an hour just for a water slide. If I had to wait that long I would go home. I couldnt stand the wait. I drive almost 2 hours at that... eek

I think they will do fine. I just hope they don't start to hurt and have to raise ticket prices. I know the price of tickets now are hard for some people.

I dont have any. but I do plan on meeting new friends this year and with that I can start new rituals. I do know I have to get blue ice cream every time I go!!
