KI isn't really a "guinea pig" with this since Cedar Point is also offering it this season.

I'm a little late, but thanks to Mr. Scheid, Mr. Helbig, Tony Clark, and the rest of the crew for the great event. You all deserve really long naps if you have yet to take them!

I finally have time to type out my experience. I had 13 rides during Media Day. Most of them were in the middle rows. The lights, station, fog, sign, and tombstones were great. I think Banshee is the best looking coaster I have ever seen. The ride experience was a 7 out of 10, IMO. Almost every one of my 13 rides had some awful vibrations. That is my only complaint, though. The best part is the twist at the end. Very similar to the rolls on Volcano at Kings Dominion. It is my 2nd favorite ride at KI, after Adventure Express. (Can't build nostalgia) Well done KI, well done.

So it begs the question of why this program was installed on rides like Adventure Express. How often does AE's line get long? Opening Day it was long enough. I agree with you. I probably would have put them in Banshee's, Diamondback's, Firehawk's, Beast's, and Drop Tower's lines. The other rides rarely have a long enough line to make it worthwhile.

I think some of you are being way too hard on this. Of course trivia is going to be ridiculous to us. What is easy to us is probably impossibly hard for the general public. Tabloid celebrity news isn't going to interest many of us on this site, but the mom who brought the kids for the day is probably interested in what the Kardashians are doing. They had golf updates that will please dad, too. This isn't made for us. It's made for everyone. It's made to entertain and distract from the wait times. I think it has already succeeded and will continue to improve over the course of this season.

I tried to renew my Platinum Pass a few hours ago and got the same thing. After 30 minutes on hold with KI, I just hung up and paid for a new one. It's only an extra, what, $8? Oh well.

It was also on Raptor and Maverick for a year.
