On a Facebook post by the Tecumseh School District it was announced that Guil Herrick has passed away. Many of you may have seen Guil working security at Kings Island. His full time job was a teacher for the Tecumseh school district. I didn’t know him well, but the times I’ve talked with him he was always a funny and nice guy. So sad. From what I was told, repainting Racer is going to be a very expensive job. In the millions due to removal of lead paint in the under layers. You can only paint over the wood so many times before it starts adding weight. Also the paint they use is a very heavy paint compared to what you would use at home. Many who have been around for a while will confirm, the park doesn’t spend money unless they need to. The station does not need to be removed unless something is planned for that space. No it’s not. It’s right next to the main gate. Security gate 3. Also I don’t think they are charging the road for employee access. Much cheaper for them to have their shuttle van to go around than raise to lower the road. Cheaper to put an employee entrance on that side of the park. There are also markers down by Soak City as well where utilities have already been put underground. I’m just hoping this is an overall parking lot repair project. Drainage in that area was completely overhauled 2 or 3 seasons ago. Also the markers are on a dead end road that does not get used. I don’t think a another coaster will be here until at least 2022. I’m thinking a front gate overhaul or even the removal of Timberwolf/Congo to make room for an expansion of some flat rides that the park desperately needs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

No, it’s called using an ND filter to allow for a wider aperture (smaller F-stop (T-stop when it comes to video cameras such as the one used in their video)) to get a more shallow depth of field in bright daylight and not blowing out the image. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

There were many variations of concepts that would end up becoming enchanted voyage. All the concepts I’ve found refer to it as “Dark Ride”. There were even multiple variations of artwork for EV. You also have to remember that during the time of conceptualizing a new park, they were also having concepts created for a new Coney Island to incorporate more Hanna Barbera property into Coney.
