2024 Bucket List Amusement Parks
Had medical issues, that, while they weren't bad for my physically as I first feared, I've been taking it hard mentally which made me worry about what work I could do and had to adjust. I'm mostly through it now but finding work I want/can do hasn't been fruitful recently, though.

2024 Bucket List Amusement Parks
I've been to MIA twice, both in conjunction with CP trips. MIA is over 4 hours from Sandusky. Also make sure you use I-96 and not I-69, it can be easy to confuse the two, especially coming back from Muskegon. If you've never been, I'd go just to experience MIA. Its nice for what it is, though, Shivering Timbers was a jackhammer machine last season. I'm not sure if they've continued re-tracking it, but its in dire need of TLC for about 4K of its mile long track. Wolverine Wildcat was running really well at least, and Corkscrew and Thunderhawk are decent. Decent supporting ride selection as well. Food leaves a lot to be desired, both in the park and in Muskegon in general, and 0 live entertainment. There also isn't much to Muskegon besides the Lake Michigan beaches. If I were you and if possible, I'd do MIA before any bigger parks as you may get spoiled by the bigger, better parks which can taint your MIA experience, especially if Timbers isn't running well. Also, if you're looking for another park in that vicinity, Waldameer is slightly closer to Sandusky and Ravine Flyer II was running excellently last season. And if you do Waldameer, do not pass up Sara's diner just outside the park. As for me, I'm not even doing KI this season due to money issues, but I have a few trips I've had on the back burner that I want to do eventually. One is a Missouri trip for SDC, SFStL and WoF with a likely stay in St Louis to see the Reds play there. I've also been wanting to do a Canadian trip with Canada's Wonderland and La Ronde.

Holiday World Tours
Kinda falls flat in a thread involving the park that has free parking, beverages, and sunscreen on normal admissions.

Restaurants OR Food You Want To Bring Back To Kings Island?
The bakeries on I-Street would be a nice comeback.

Hope they have a good method of de-icing the bridge.

Six Flags and Cedar Fair Merge
I'm curious what happens at Six Flags if this doesn't go through. By some things I've read and heard, they're kind of up s*** creek without a paddle.

2007: The Next Big Thing
1. That sequel never happened. 2. That name has other meanings not exactly good for an amusement park.

Skyrush @ Hersheypark getting new seats and restraints
There's a more comfortable coaster in the park that does it better IMO, its called Storm Runner.
-
Skyrush @ Hersheypark getting new seats and restraints
^My leg muscles are built tight so I usually route stand up coasters early on park visits on parks that have them, and I do the same thing with Skyrush.

Maybe Skyrush will actually be enjoyable. Facebook

New Website Reports
^And then set it to every KIC error page including when the site goes down. EDIT: I'm still getting used to the new logo when it comes to tabs. I keep accidentally closing the KIC page thinking its an extra/unwanted page or something.

Only Four Invertigos?
We've been lucky with ours in terms of down time. Most of the others have been bad at down time, both the normal Invertigo models and the Giant Inverted Boomerangs. I remember several news stories about the CGA and SFA versions being stuck with riders and it drew a lot of negative attention among normal guests.

RMC at Carowinds
I think Vortex is slightly underrated. Its not that big which means it won't wear out as quickly as bigger steel coasters and honestly its pretty comfy for a stand up IMO.

The New Kings Island Central Website is Here!
Its more like Banshee's trains attached to Dominator.

RMC at Carowinds
From following Carowinds' own FB as well as their fanbase, RMC means Routine Maintenance from Carowinds. They've been doing in-house retracking on Hurler and I'm guessing they're cleverly squashing actual RMC rumors. I can't find it anymore, but I think they're also reverting Vortex back to red and black.

Maybe KIC will be issuing scratch off cards with the old logo that gets removed to the new one.

The future of SOB: My opinion
I wonder why when most other wood coasters get rough, even among their most die hard fanbases, they were just bad rides, but for some reason, SOB got a free pass for being rough among its die hard fans. Also, the OG poster wasn't far off from the truth.

Something musically relevant.- Camp Snoopy Construction Updates
Racer getting more track work is also nice.- If Taft could’ve done anything differently when planning KI
^On my visit last July, I found it weird that most people just made an immediate left turn at the gate at KD and the end by the Eiffel Tower was barren (didn't help that ET was closed). I think it also has to do with the asymmetric design of the park compared to KI along with a lack of pathing and attractions directly south of their ET. Seeing construction pics of KD, it feels to me like they really wanted to make the lake under Anaconda a main focal point of the pathing. Like, if they made their I-Street go in a more southwestern direction, it would have complimented the lake and pathing perfectly.- Favorite Off Season Activities?
I'm in community bands all year and have turned playing my sax into a hobby including transposing a lot of music I just want to play for fun (and potentially for random solo gigs, may start to share recordings on here). College basketball was a big thing for me for a while, but I'm not liking what college football (which I've stopped watching) is starting to do with the other sports so BB might be up in the air. Its a bit tough as I find it hard trying to find things to do of interest in the winter (I don't dislike winter as much as many do), maybe Pops/CSO concerts if I find some I like and a bit of random photography if something presents itself. - It's Coming......
