Wow that brings back memories of my first kiss, which was on the Tiques. I havent seen that past girlfriend in ages! but on a serious note I'm Glad that Kings Island has made a special place in many peoples memories, that shows you what a great park it is, and how it can touch many people with its inviting atmosphere. -Chris

Thanks to my commitment to football, which ment lifting every mon,wed,fri, and the start of the season august 3rd, I only got to go up 4 times this summer which is a huge bummer. Hopefully I can find time to go up during fearfest. -Chris

I ride The Beast because it is a great ride and always gives you a thrill no matter how many times you ride it. I personally love the second tunnel where the end of it is cement, because when the train is speeding out of the tunnel it makes this ferocious indeed beastly sound, and that is what gives me the chills everytime I ride it. -Chris

Hahaha I forgot all about Snakes On a Plane, and I think that is how my feelings for that movie will remain.

Today my two friends and I decieded to take probably our last trip to pki before school is in session again. We arrived at 12, swiftly made our way through the medal detectors and stopped into the Skyline on International Street for lunch. The service was good, and I was happy. After "Skyline time," Action Zone was the next destination, after purchasing a locker for the day. We thought it would be a good idea to start our day off with a bit of an adrenalin rush so we headed for Drop Zone. It was about a 15 minute wait, and as always delivered a rush. Usualy after Drop Zone we would have headed for Son of Beast but as we all know that couldn't happen. So we walked over to Delirum and as we were waiting I saw a SOB train go up the first hill, so I guess they were doing some tests. Leaving Delirum we wandered off towards Coney Mall, but a "$10 special for Sling Shot" caught our attention. The skys were gray and rain started to fall but we waiting in line and soon enough we were next. During the launch of the people infront of us, the springs made a strange noise so maintenance was called and after a 10 minute wait the ride was clear for operation. Right before we were strapped into the seats, Thunder struck the ears. The ride opps decieded to hurry up and launch us anyways and boy did they do that fast. Soon enough we were hurtling towards the heavens, then free falling towards the ground, and bouncing right back. We both glanced to the west and saw the storm that had passed over us quietly but soon erupted after passing. Overall it was worth the 10 dollars. After safly returning to earth we set out for one of the classics, The Racer. Boarding the Backwards Racer quite quickly, we found ourselves doweling the forwards and catching some serious air time. It was a super ride from the some what wet tracks. Whats better to do when you just got off a great coaster? Go on another one! The Beast! As we travel to The Beast we pass by the the new 3-point shot game, it is pretty cool IMO. The Beast was out in full rage today, with wet tracks the ride was faster than ever and truely gave a new and unique ride experience to a ride I have ridden houndreds of times. After leaving The Beast it felt very hot and sticky so we go and pick up our stuff from the lockers and board the train for Boomerang Bay. After the train ride(which I discovered they have new speakers and a new sound track for the train cars which was pretty nice) we quickly changed and found some chairs to put our stuff on. Tazmanian Typhoon was our next heading, on arrival we were informed that 3 can not ride in a raft, it would have to be two and one go seperate, so we decieded to walk away. The three of us walked all the way to Snowy River Rampage, waiting about 10 minutes to get on, and had a super time on the ride. And at this point in the report I get to the one of the things that somewhat annoyed me, the Lazy River. The fact you can only go arround once and have to get off is kinda pathetic, I mean almost every other water park I have been to lets you float along as long as you want but nope not at pki. This was the end of our voyage to the water park, we gathered our things, dried off, and boarded the train to go back to the park. After arrival and listening to some sweet tunes on the train (Land Downunder by Men at Work) we embarked on a short walk to White Water Canyon. While in line two 19 year old guys decieded to light up right next to a clearly posted non-smoking sign, and with 4 young girls behind them. This truely annoyed me, I mean honestly no one wants to smell that, and there is designated areas but I guess they are just to "cool" to abide to the rules. Once we were in our boat/raft the fun began. I started to rethink of "oh wow its cool they fixed all the water canons and updated the shooting areas" because that in return soaked me head to toe. At this point it was about 5:45 so we set off for the Larosas on International Street, and sat down by the fountains and had a nice $14(two slices of pizza, fries, and a sports drink) dinner I guess you could say. Short after that we got another ride on Delrium, returned the key to the Locker rental, and made our way out of the park. over all it was about a 7 hour trip filled with fun, great memories, and a nice way to end summer break. -Chris

That is a good idea. It would also be cool if you boarded at the top and under you was a floor and then all of a sudden the floor drops out from in under you and you free fall to the ground and get unloded at the bottom of the tower. With the idea about bording at the top then droping to the bottem would be a good idea for lets say a "quick" elevator to the bottem of the Grand Canyon. Then once at the bottem you could have another form of that but like one of the power towers at Cedar Point that would shoot you up to the top and some how lock at the top and let you off at the top of the Grand Canyon. Today I was driving to my friends house and herd a commercial on the radio for Kings Island, it mentioned all of the usual stuff, but I herd something I never herd them say before about Boomerang Bay. It stated that Boomerang Bay was one of the top five water parks in the country; this baffled my mind. I am just curious if this is correct . I mean it is an awsume water park with many slides and water amenities, but I can't see it being one of the top 5 in the country. -Chris

During my trip to the park yesterday, I stopped in and watched the show. It was filled with many classic rock songs and they perfected each one that they performed. I thought the show was fantastic; I recommend that you should stop in and see it some time.

If this is true, I believe this will be very good for the parks. Cedar Point is an amazing park and hopefully they can work their wonders with the paramount parks.

I also went today...and it was as I found very crowded for a thursday, but once the "spirit song" concert thing started then most of the people there for "Christian Days" (which is the 7th,8th,and 9th) were at the concert freeing things up. Today was the first day I have seen all the ques for sob filled.

yea I also find no problem with sob i can ride it all day and not hurt, but my girlfriend on the other hand gets a "head ache" or "her knee hurts." I also think it has to deal with the size of the rider, I am 6'3 200 lbs with a wide body lay out and fit nice and snug in the cars, unlike my girlfriend who is 5 foot something and only 110 and the restraints when pushed all the way done dont even hit her thighs, so maybe this has something to do idk?

By the way thats the land I was talking about if its not obvious, good job with the picture man.

On June second as I was exiiting the station of sob I notices a semi truck with a container on the back zoomed by on that road down below sob and that goes on top of the que line for sob and top gun. I was sorta curious but I didn't think much about this but maybe some of the track was in that truck ? ? I also noticed while I was riding sob that the land back there was half way flatened and it looked like it was just recently done, its the land back by the old trams and almost directly behind sob. any thoughts or reasons behind this?

I agree with him I also am horrible at structure building, but I am very good at recreating the ride lay out some of the ones I have done so far are; Son of Beast, face off, Vortex, racers, top gun, and beast.

An inverted wooden coaster....um wow... I truly dont even have a concept of what that would be like...You would have a big bulky wood track above you. I would love to see what one of these would possibly look like.

Longest line I waited in was for the grand opening of sob. longest line I waited in to get skyline at the park was 40 minutes, yea that was yesterday at 12p.m. if any of you were there and eat at that skyline arround that time, you know what i mean

This Saturday my friends and I are going up to pki at 9, i no the park is open but not all the way open till 10. any ways if we get there at 9 can we buy are gold pass' and get them developed at 9? ^^might be a stupid question...and if it is ssorry for it.

yup it lasted into the 90s cause my mom said when ever she took me on the train and the cowboys and the indians started to fight i would cry. Hey i got another question.... why did they stop it?

My class is doing a "lock in" but its at a sports complex, that would be so awsume to be at pki all night long with all your friends. They would probably charge you for two days if you would be going in the day and staying all night, enless you show up at 12 at night then they wouldnt get you for two days.

You might be a pki addict if....you check these forums out more than you check your girlfriend out in a week. You might be a pki addict if....you tried to spend a whole day on RCT3 trying to make PKI on your PC on the off season

I just noticed in the poll it says Chick-fil-a, where in the park is that, I visit the park about 15 times a summer and I have never seen a Chick-fil-a ? can some one tell me where I can find this?

They use Blue Grass hot dogs, (my grandpa's sister owned three of the skylines in Cincinnati and once owned the one in Tampa, but now her son owns the one on Colrein avinue, so skyline runs in my family:D ) any ways pki has a wide veriety of many foods. Personally I like Skyline and Larosas, this might seem strange but for some reason the cheese coneys from skyline at pki taste better than the ones you would get at the regular resturants , in my opinion.
