I had asked a supervisor on Labor Day, and was told, "80's will be performed on Saturday, but not Hot Island" we didn't get to ask about County Line.

Sorry to bust a bubble, thats my Daughter. PEANUT. We are friends of the cast and she doesn't miss too many of the shows, County Line, 80's and Hot Island.

Seeing everyone is talking about entertainment! Why doesn't Kings Island utilize that nice looking stage over near Drop Zone?

I think something like Disney is doing in Florida; "Nemo the Musical" would be a nice change for our area. Something on that scale of a show; It has actors, singers and characters for the kids.

Will she be doing autographs after the show?

Dealing with 4 hungry kids (1 1/2, 4, 5 and 6) You push down on the bun and cut; We didn't have any reason to think they couln't handle the job of making a sandwich. You hope that what you purchased is there! From now on at Kings Island we will check to make sure its all there.

By the way it's 4 kids! The County Line runs from 4 to 4:30pm; we were a few minutes late for the start of the show, any how, getting from the FestHaus to the 50's Diner in 15 minutes is not very hard, Sunday wasn't very busy at the park, Saturday was busy! And we did do Disney two weeks ago, much more efficiently ran; already planning on next years trip back down to see the Mouse.

Lets see, my job is to please the custumers, to make sandwiches with hamburgers on them, the hamburger is not an option; it's a main piece of the product. Can I do a basic task? NO. The restraunt was not busy, no excuse! Pay attention to detail!

yeah, both burgers were missing and the two gents inline behind me couldn't believe it either, they got a tickle out of it, my wife wasn't happy!

Today was a typical day at Kings Island, my family arrived at the Gold lot at 4pm with the lot busting at the seams! We watched people pay with cash as they entered and drive into the Gold lot and park, and not being surprised; NO parking attendant was there to screen Gold/Platinum Passes! Then we decided to visit The County Line show. Right after the show we went at 4:45 PM to stop by the 50's Dinner for 2 sandwiches (Bacon Cheeseburger Combo's); my wife cut the first sandwich up for the kids to share and they started eating; She then cut ours up for her and I to share, as I bit into my half, something was wrong, NO BURGER on it! I looked at the kids sandwiches, and "Yes" NO BURGER on theirs either! I went right back in and notified the staff at the register and also asked to speak with a manager. No manager came out and a girl behind the line re-made our order with Burgers on the sandwiches this time. We felt an occurrence like this needed to be brought to the attention of Guest Services; I have the feeling that was a mistake, Guest Services promised me they would talk to the food service manager and that seeing the order was re-made that was the end of the problem as far as the lady I spoke with stated. I went outside and seeing they didn't ask my name or anything else went back inside and filed a formal complaint! Now I'm going to wait and see if I get a reply from anyone at the park on this issue. Has anyone else had this happen to them?

Nick or Treat is set up for the kids, The park is pretty much a normal day with trick or treating in the kids area and costumes are allowed during daylight hours, but at 5 pm, all bets are off (no kids costumes allowed, only employees) and its a bit more scarry; my wife and I took our 1,3, 4 and 5 year old to everything and they loved it, we explained it was all for fun and it wasn't real, preperation of your kids can make a difference between nightmares and haveing the best time of their lives; The monsters have clear cut rules in the park: "you don't touch them, they won't touch you". The monsters will scream, and jump and make loud noises, but that's it. Your own judgement should be used for the clowns, the pirates and the shows; it's what are you and your kids comfortable with?

Answered in other threads: The Haunt and Nick or Treat is part of your gold pass, no extra to pay.

Gold Pass gets the Haunt free too.. I do have one more question. During the "Haunt" days, is the park open regular hours? I know the Haunt is from 7pm-1am, but is it open like normal for the rest of the day? Really looking forward to something other than CP's Halloweekends. The park is open during the day for kids! Nick or Treat until 5pm.

Can these lockers be locked with the door in an open position? Can the key be withdrawn from the cylinder after the money is put in with the door open?

Questions: I told some of my family's gay friends about this and they purchased tickets online; but the park calander says the park is closed this date, will they be able to get in with the tickets they purchased? And if a season pass holder is gay, can they get in with their pass? What if a family wants to go; even if they are not gay but have gay friends attending? Are they not being allowed to attend? What are the rules?

A co-worker sent me a powerpoint of an interesting subject I think alot of you will like! (Rides) How can I share it with everyone? My wife and kids did this today, and they didn't check her pass, she asked why when she was done, and the kid at LaRosa's said it was for everyone? No pass needed to partake in this nice deal...

None of the choices for the vote are acceptable. Maybe 17 or 18. What about those two kids recently in the news that were in a park and one of them is now headless; they entered a restricted area near a roller coaster? Kids need parental supervision!

They are also on the park maps, but some of the dates are really questionable, doesn't seem like anyone checked the dates the shows end against the dates the park is open, primarily in September. Quality control?

OK I give, whats Nashville Star have to do with Drew from County Line?

Drew wasn't the show, but he did do a good job. Drew added to an already good show. I hope Kings Island will find it in their heart to bring him back from his vacation. My daughters miss seeing him in the show.

I think this is great idea; even though we live locally, we camp in East Fork, then goto Kings Island for more fun, staying at the park would be even more fun for my kids. Maybe even a cost reduction for Gold and Platinum members. With the cost of fuel and motels/hotels, I think this would benifit Kings Island
