It's pretty obvious to me. They're laying a concrete footing on the top of Drop Tower for the 600' Dive Machine that's going to go right over it in 2009. Haha...I like it^

You will love that.....they really never do anything.....I wish I could go back this year May have been true in the Paramount Parks days, but I can assure you that is NOT true now. Under Cedar Fair, everyone works, or they don't have a job very long. Well last year they were always sitting in my office....doing nothing

yeah I heard that too. The ride is not listed on their site anymore.

Well they basically are there all day.....they do all the running for the mech dept. They get ice for the merch carts, they bring the stores racks and gondolas......just stuff like that

Has anyone passed KI recently and noticed the door open to Drop Tower with a light on in it? It's been like that for three weeks now.

If they decieded to build a new campground where do you think they would even put it......maybe where the old greenhouse is????

I guess its like the reason you send Thank You notes to people who bring you gifts. Does not sending them mean you get less gifts? Probably not. Its like anything else. A company can run itself any way it wants to. They are free to pay their executives as many millions as they want. Personally I like to think that the companies that survive in the future are ones that go out of their way for their customers, not just see how much they can bleed from them. I agree....when they go out of their way people are just happier

Why does it got to be that society is LAZY? A FEW more steps to the car, for some it could be another walk to the other end of the parking lot! After walking the park from open to close for some, a ride even somewhat close to the car would be nice. Besides that like someone said earlier, It's the experience. For years KI had the tram. I've always remembered it. Last year was the first time in awhile I've been to KI, and I was telling my family about it. When we got there, no tram. How long has it been gone anyway? Hopefully one of these days they will bring it back. Were they expensive to run??? because they are still sitting by the old greenhouse behind GWL.

Sorry to tell you but the statues of Yogi Bear and Fred Flintstone that used to be over by HBL are now rubble. I would love to see something of old Kings Island in that area of the park. Come on Cedar Fair we all know you can do it. I agree. I would love to see something old, from the park's history

One of those things was still being used in 2006 to cool The Vortex driver box. Don't know if it is still there though. But those things pump out some serious cold. Its still there

ok so here are some of the rumors i remember hearing: did you know that the king cobra is being rebuilt behind TG did you know that they are putting King Cobra's trains on The Vortex they are putting SOB trains on The Beast and the last one i can think of is that......SOB loop is going to be placed on The Beast these were just the things i over heard.

Last year when I worked at KI the rides dept. told us that TRTR was probably going to be closed for the entire '08 season due to computer failure....

I worked at KI last year and i remember them saying during '08 season they were going to tear down Congo Falls. And.....they are for sure renaming all the rides/attractions that have any relation to Paramount....by April 2008
