Indiana Beach
I was at Indiana Beach a couple weeks ago on a Thursday and some things were a walk on. Try Cornball Express in the front seat. It's an airtime machine! Steel Hawg is pretty fun, but it can be very painful. If you have any other questions just PM me.

Ideas?
Okay, Well I'm going to Cedar Point July 16-18th. I will be leaving from Indianapolis on The 16th at 8 am. Them I'm going to drive to Kings Island and upgrade my Gold Pass to a Platinum. Then we will drive to Cedar Point and check in at the Best Western. After this we will head over to CP for a night of rides. (We figure it will be about 3-4 pm). The next day we will take advantage of the early entry feature and hit some big rides while the lines are short. Then we will spend the day at Cedar Point. At 10pm that night, we will take advantage of the Milli Force ERT from 10-11 pm. Then the next day we will take advantage of the early entry and stay until about 2 pm. Then we will drive back to Indianapolis. This will be my first time visiting CP ever and I am really excited. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should expect and what I should ride with my valuable time there. Thank you for any input that you may have!

Trip Report For Moday, July, 7, 2008
Did you notice how you can either have the cute little monkey or the $5 when you return your key for the deposit. It's very smart of them beacuse the little monkey thing probably cost them 10 cents. On another note, when you were stopped on the lift of Flight Deck, it was probably because the ride operator didn't release the brakes from the other flight deck train sitting on the brakes. This meant that the next block was occupied, so you had to wait on the lift until train had cleared those brakes. (Just clearing it up for you)

Upgrading to a Platinum Pass
I was wondering, I am going to Cedar Point later in the year, but all I have is a Gold Pass. How much does it cost to upgrade to platinum? Any answers would be appreciated. If it cost's less than 72.95, I might do it.

Stricker's Grove
I was wondering if anyone was going to go to Stricker's Gove this Friday for Fourth of July. I can't decide and I don't know how busy it will be. Thanks!

Photo TR: A pleasant and unexpected visit.
Great Photo TR! Did you happen to notice if the green engine was running on the KI&MVRR or was it just the Blue Train?

Trim Brakes
How do you know if the coaster is "world class" if it has always been trimmed? That's a good point, what if a coaster is awful without trim brakes. You would never know.... You can only predict.

Trim Brakes
The brake before the corkscrew on Vortex is not a trim brake. It is a Mid Course Brake Run, which is very handy in keeping two trains from entering the same block and possibly colliding. The MCBR could make the train come to a complete stop, but it ususally only slows you down because KI is pretty good at dispatching trains. Not to mention, the MCBR on Vortex has always been there. Good dispatch times... I think not. The only three, I mean 4 crews at Kings Island that deserved to be recognized for fast dispatches are the Backlot Stunt Coaster Crew, Son of The Beast Crew, and Flight of Fear Crew. Oh, I forgot one more, the Fairly Odd Coaster Crew, they barely stack the trains on a 0:59 second ride. That's amazing.
