  1. Auditioners must bring a head shot and a "professional" resume? Oh. Whoops. Yours truly, who didn't get a resume professionally done last November, nor any other time auditioning somewhere.. -- Did media announce auditions coming up back in November? Cause I don't recall.
  2. Just because something DEFINITELY is being altered in some way in Action Zone, doesn't mean the there is going to be a re-theme. There can be enhancements and alterations... as well as altercations, I suppose.
  3. I'm hoping that maybe it's a nice circular fountain. Not like the one posted above, but one you could sit around.. Maybe make the park some extra change. Or is it unethical to collect the coins of people's dreams and wishes?
  4. 8 days at the least.
  5. They could easily redesign it, or just do away with it. And I'm not so sure anything is even happening there..
  6. This bothers me so much when people don't understand how to use a versus an. A is used before consonants and an is used before vowels. Correction: "A" is used before consonant sounds, and "an" is used before vowel sounds. Example: A user on KIC will clap his hands in an hour. ("User" begins with a "Y" sound, while "hour" begins with an "O" sound.) (EDIT: beaten to it) And then there are exceptions depending on culture and how they pronounce English words. (ex. "an historical place" vs. "a historical place") Some wouldn't pronounce the "H" and would go straight to the vowel sound.
  7. Hmm... I'm not so sure that that is real brick being used...
  8. If the show is disappointing, wouldn't it be appropriate to provide constructive criticism? Yes. If it's constructive and respectful. Haha yeah. I'd like some more variety in the show styling as well in the future too.
  9. Yeah, I wouldn't even know about the park being reopened if it weren't for this site discussing it and posting pictures.
  10. Bare in mind cast members, producers, directors etc. for the shows can see this stuff..
  11. I was also suspicious of that Broadway show to end up at Kings Island. I truly hope it isn't. It was an okay show. Didn't capture the magic that a good musical has though so, I didn't care as much for it.
  12. I assume they didn't need to take the restraints off, and wrapping them up is easier than taking the restraints off of the train.
  13. Who ever said it WAS Clifford, Dave? I surely didn't!
  14. I mean, something was happening over there, but I couldn't tell what since there's snow and it's so far away. You didn't miss much. In other news.. In case anyone was wondering where Clifford went! This may or may not, or probably isn't the actual one but.... tee hee, gentlemen, tee hee.
  15. Honestly, just the fact that we have an indoor, dark coaster is enough for me haha If it were to be rethemed, I hope it wouldn't be off a movie or anything because licenses run out, and we all know what kind of tacky things can happen when we suddenly aren't allowed to have a goddess-- I mean, certain things anymore.
  16. It'll be more crowded surely, but I think you'll like it. Especially since there was nothing lost even if it's not your favorite thing to see
  17. Boomerang Ba-- oh...
  18. We'll find out very soon. (if you saw Don's tweet) There is definitely a new show coming for KI theatre, and if anyone ever auditions for the shows, whether they make it or not, they would have a good idea of what shows are coming as long as the paper given those weekends aren't altered after that event. British Invasion probably isn't coming back. I'm not condoning people to audition just to see this paper. Don't do that, and you are wasting Kings Island's & your own time unless you really are wanting to be in a show. Since I don't know if I'm allowed to say what is most likely coming, and we'll get official word very soon anyways. I'll leave it at this.
  19. It's obviously clay then. I dearly pray that you realize the lack of seriousness in what I just said. Never mind - This is why we quote
  20. http://www.davidwaderich.com/hotlink/KI/Angle1/ I can't tell when this was added because of the snow but.. It has grown recently and I didn't see a cement truck ever.
  21. It's that sense of "almost there" that gets them. I had the same thing happen to me on my 21st birthday. We made it back onto my street and I felt a sense of relief. 10 seconds later I was giving the side of the car a new paint job. Anyway, I'd hate to be that first person to throw up on one of Banshee's nice new cars. That guilt would never leave me. You could add that to your 2014 Kings Island goals. -- And looks as though you're right. That's disappointing
  22. .... If people puke on the first dive loop, or swooping up into the first loop...
  23. Cameras are very useful tools.. My guess anyways.
  24. ^ That's what I was expecting, but there's no evidence to suggest that, that I've seen. Although, I'd imagine doing that would create a little congestion on the stairway down, so maybe the wall can only be a decorative architecture. Kinda how it suggests the steeple portion of a church without building an extra section of building.
  25. I'd like to after work, go to Kings Island and ride at least one great ride before going home. At least three times a week since I'll be close to the park, won't be too far to travel!
