Last year while riding The Beast, and just before the lift hill, there was a deer RIGHT next to the tracks. I was thinking, oh man, what if this deer jumped out in front of this car? Luckily I was riding in the back that time lol.

I also find the red train to be smoother. Off topic: Interp, I saw a licence plate today that said ms interp could that be your wife? lol

i noticed they moved the onride camera to where right after the loop used to be. anyone else notice that?

So.... either your dad or his company put up the Kings Island Theatre sign too. Nope, he didnt put up the new one. I wonder who did. I am going to guess that Cedar Fair hired a company to travel and put up the new signs in all of the parks.

My dad actually put up the paramount theatre sign, so its kinda sad for me to see it go. Plus, I would annoy my boyfriend everytime we would walk by it and say "Hey, did you know my dad put up that sign" lol.

I was just watching channel 5 news, and they said the same thing.

I know this topic is old but I feel the need to share this. In probably 1997 (I am guessing, I know I was in junior high), I was in line for The Racer, when an elderly man walked throught the queues, took off his clothes (all of his clothes) and hung them on the rails for the queues. I was probably 11 or 12 when this happened and I was like "That old man is naked!" I rode the ride, the man was still there, naked, and by the time I was getting off the ride security was showing up saying "Sir, you have to wear your clothes" That old man did not see a problem with being naked, and he seemed quite mad that he needed to put his clothes back on. LOL!

When the ride E-stops it does not return to the home position, it mearly lets gravity bring the ride to the lowest point, this also means that the gondola is not parallel to the ground but rather angled facing downward. In the event that the ride is unable to be homed such as a lack of air pressure, the ride will be Locked Out, a very large jack is placed under the front of the gondola then jacked up so as to level the gondola, then a roling stair case is wheeled to the front right corner of the gondola. Operators stand at the opposite end and corners to keep guests from walking off the edge. Once all of this is done, an air compressor is wheeled behind the ride and connected to a valve near the back row exit side corner. This allows the manual opening of restraints using the controls at on the side of that valve/box. Restraints are opened half a row at a time starting with the front row entrance side, then front row exit side, then middle row entrance side, etc. The rest of the evacuation procedures are the same, the ops will take your name, seat number, and ask if you're feeling alright. Years ago I was stuck on Vortex for 30 min on the lift hill, 30 min on the midway, and like 30 min at the end. Luckily I wasn't scared of that ride then, but it was my friends first time on it, she didn't freak out though. Can I ask how you evacuate people off of TRTR?

I have ridden in the red train evertime. From what I have read on here the blue train is worse. It is strange how everyones opinions very. I refuse to ride in the back of a car. Yesterday a lady asked me if I would like to get in front of them to ride in 1-2. I was like, no thanks, the back of the car is rougher. She looked at me like I was nuts! In the old cars if I rode in the middle or back of a train it would shake me so badly and the forces would make my socks (I wore tube socks) push down. Unbelievable. LOL.

I have only ridden in 2-1 and the back car 1st row. 2-1 is very smooth, my only complaint is I bump shoulders with my boyfriend when we ride. The back car in the 1st row was rougher then 2-1 I did not like it. I would imagine that the last seat is a bit rough. I really want to ride in the front seat again, I only have once, years ago.

Rode it tonight at like 9:50...it was pretty cool at night. Only the red train was running. I know this may be a dumb question, but what exactly do they do when they regauge the track?

I rode it twice today! First time in the 2nd car 1st seat....so smooth! 2nd time in the last car 1st seat, that was a little rougher. But no more rough then Racer or Beast in the back of a car. I must say, I do miss the loop. EDIT: I forgot to say how LOUD the chain is on the lift hill. Oh, also on both rides I only waited for 2 trains.

no lights tonight. it was an amazing ride.

so i rode The Beast again today, and lights on again. i think it ruins the ride.

I went to ki tonight, rode The Beast at about 9:50...and when coming to the helix...I saw lights in the tunnel. At first I thought, oh theres prob only 1 light, but no, the whole tunnel was filled with lights. But coming into the 2nd tunnel on the helix no lights. I just rode The Beast prob less then 2 weeks ago and there weren't any lights. I'm kinda mad.
