  1. This is what prevents me from wanting a job at KI. I think some of the magic of the park would be lost by seeing behind the scenes.
  2. This is my theory on why they've let TRTR go to hell. I think they're trying to remove it without a large uproar. With all the effects failing it seems like CF is trying to cut the GP's love of the ride and make it seem like CF is the hero when they remove it. It seems like they're trying to make the ride's removal predictable. I'm not saying that CF is purposely sabotaging the ride but I think they're purposely not repairing the effects.
  3. I've seen plenty of those AEDs hanging around before. It seems almost stupid not to have them at an amusement park. I think it would be a good idea to have at least one at each ride's station.
  4. Wouldn't that be a heck of a fulfilled dream for someone like him?

So you say they fit you pretty well? I'm just wondering if they will fit me. I just got to the point where I can't ride FoF and can barely get two clicks on The Beast. Can anyone compare and contrast the PTC trains on all the other woodies at KI compared to SOB's new ones?

This seems to be a bit of a bitter sweet situation. The negative publicity has made the GP think this ride is dangerous and not trust it even thought the ride has been thoroughly tested. We, on the other hand know it's safe or they wouldn't have opened it. To us this means shorter lines. That's pretty nice. Who knows though? Maybe the attendance will drop off this year from the reputation. If that were the case then perhaps we might lose Sonny. Don't get me wrong, I'm not for losing SOB but I'm not completely against it if we were to get something nice like a B&M floorless or invert. You know, an eye for an eye, a rollercoaster for a rollercoaster. No more removing coasters for flats! (cough) Delirium.
  7. Huzzah! Welcome Don and the Helbig family! Sounds like we have an experienced Kings Islander on our hands.
  8. I still don't understand why the entire que isn't covered. Really, what would be the downside of having the entire line under cover? Every time I'm there at least one person passes out in that line. I'm not blaming just the sun. I know people don't eat or drink and whatnot, but the sun has a huge influence on someone with an empty stomach. There really isn't a reason for the line to not to be completely shaded. Yes it is the patron's responsibility to eat and drink but still the park should have a backup in place for all the people who don't.
  9. Pretty sure she wouldn't want to ride that even if she weren't in a cast.
  10. What are they going to say? The wind from face/off knock em off the top of the car I don't know what they would say, but in sue-happy America I wouldn't doubt that excuse. What are you talking about??? Kings Island security should have been there to stop them! There's no way they could have know that this activity was dangerous!! [/sarcasm] ...and that, my dear jury, is why my client deserves justice. I love idiocy!

  12. Dumb sh!ts. I'm just waiting for them to try to come back on KI for some kind of negligence.

This is what makes me want to work at WWC.

I did the other night. That was a mistake. I ended up reading the entire thread.

WWC is a true treasure. Other rapids rides don't compare just because of WWC's location. It's completely wooded. You feel like you're away from civilization back there. Even though the train runs by there every few minutes.

    Mmm. Yummy, death.

That's what I kind of figured. But I still thought it would be interesting. I would really like to see the pumps and turbines dry.
  19. I think this has been mentioned before. I'm not sure though. I doubt Cedar Fair will fix it as I'm guessing they'll be redesigning the site soon anyway.

^Good point. I haven't smelled chlorine on the ride.
  21. Really is a nice website. Great find.
  22. Personally I wouldn't. Yes the texting on the job part is out of line but the head thing is fine. I think you should be able to have some fun on the job without being punished.
  23. Shhhh.

The reservoir idea is pretty cool. Basically this feeds most (or all?) water rides a KI? Would this include BB?
