OK In a perfect world heres what would happen withen the next 5-7 years (rough idea) Get rid of Timberwold Theatre so you can get to Top Gun from Congo Falls by walking behind Drop Zone. (And for god sakes shorten the q-line for Top Gun to meet up with this NEW path. With the new path a new paint job and maybe some fog and or tunnels would be nice too a new non-Paramount name like "Flight Commander". Also the extra land and more unused land around here could be used for a "Challenge Park like CP has so they can tear down the crappy Days of Thunder Go-Karts. Move IJST to the current location of Days of Thunder because it does not fit at all with Coney Mall. And make Coney Mall just like a carnival, IJST would help A LOT, but id love to see a ride like The Zipper and another flat ride where Flight Commander used to be. Also bring back the Old Fashioned cars and a Ferris Wheel where IJST currently is. Move Adventure Express to the pond in the middle of Rivertown and add a lot more theming in that area similar to the Frontier area at CP. Also if CF wants to remove all Paramount ties to the park I think they should keep TRTR but re-program it to be a different ride and re-theme it. Finally the new area X-Base, add a couple flat rides, a bathroom and (a lot of people will fight me on this) GL's Dominator mostly where Adventure Express currently is. Once again this would be in a PERFECT KI world

Honestly im kind of nervous with the talk of the trains they are getting for it. All this ride had going for it was the loop take it away and theres no point, if only they built some good bunny hills for air-time or something. I do agree a tunnel would help ESP if you added fog, also someone was saying they should add a tunnel with fog for top gun. Would it be possible to have the 2 coasters share a pond or marsh area with fog? Cause that would be really cool.

The rule of thumb should be to always have both stations running unless it's extremly slow, not open the 2nd one if it's extremely busy, at least for the first season it's open!

If they tear it down how much you think they'll charge for a piece of it in the gift shops?

Isnt the hourly capacity with 1 station 1 train like 300? What is it with both stations running?

So wait paramount wanted to move the FOFs from KI and KD? Where were they gonna move them to?

Ill ride it, and if it breaks again ill just be in the news and get a settlement so it's really win win.

Well i would say a 2 hour wait for the ride would classify it as being busy seeing as most other waits in the park are under 1 hour.

How long do you guys think the line will be when it opens? And do you think they will make a big deal about it or do you think all of a sudden just one day they'll remove the "sorry this ride is not running today" sign in front of the q-line?

At What time did you ride? When I went at about 2:30, both trains were running Huh, thats weird, i believe it was around 3 or 4.

Really? Ive been hearing reports of people seeing tests going on or part of the train in the station. I rode drop zone twice today to see if I could see anything and there was absolutly nothing on any part of the track so take that for what it's worth.

As of today (6/5) they were back to 1 train on one side of the station.

Ok so they took down the sign by the parking booths that says "Firehawk may open late with limited capacity" Yet today they went back to only running one train (if it's true that they were at one point running both). Still at an average wait of 2 hours throughout most of the day.

Ok was Flying Eagles really THAT good? Ive seen people post that they drives all the way to Kings Dominion just to ride it, other people have said that they need to replace IJST with Flying Eagles. Makes it seem like it was the best ride in the world, what was so great about it? Granted I never rode it but it looks the same as any other flat ride

I was there today too, and I did think the park was rather crowded for a tuesday. I waited about 20-30min for Delerium last year at this time it was a walk on all day long (at least the days I went) The only 2 rides without lines today were Top Gun and Adventure Express.

Both would be awesome, and don't take much time or money to plan, just like re-locating a coaster. It's cheaper and doesn't take 3 years to plan so they could build a couple flat rides or a dark ride next year, and re-locate dominator the year after that or maybe even 2010. Just a guess. Also does anyone know if it's a proven fact that KI was the top park in the Paramount chain Im assuming it was but I dont know for a fact.

I agree I have been 5 times this summer from opening weekend, memorial day weekend to now and it has been way busier than most days I went last summer or the summer before. I honestly think attendance is up.

I think the big advantage is not necesarily saving money but saving time, CF just took control of the park and was able to add a ride that summer, if they developed a new coaster it wouldve taken around 3 years.

What would happen if they did go Bankrupt though? I still don't really understand what they did with those 5 or 6 parks they sold? They sold them a random company thats keeping them exactly the same they just arent called Six Flags anymore?

God I went to KI again and TRTR was closed for the last 4 hours the park was open!! Is this ride ever open? Or does it ever give 2 full rides before breaking down?

And I seem to recall someone saying that the Six Flags staff was being much more friendly than CF staff this summer, guess Kings Island doesn't apply, although I love the ride operators at Cedar Point too. Or i guess whoever made that comment didnt know what they were talking about.

Magic Mountain was used in "Rollercoaster" (w/ a very young Helen Hunt) and "KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park" Also Knotts Berry Farm was just in the opening sequence of "Knocked Up"

Dominator looks great and all, but I'd much rather get something original and unique. I really want to see a shiny new B&M hyper with a layout kind of mixing up a hyper-twister and a traditional air-time filled hyper. As twisty as the two Giovanola hypers but as much air time as Goliath at SFOG. I agree id like to see a new coaster too but it really doesn't look like thats something CF would invest in for awhile, they need to pay off their debt first (un-like six flags). And it just happens that GL is falling apart so I wouldn't be suprised if we got dominator.

I dk if anyone here has ridden it, but a ride similar to revenge of the mummy but alien themed would be FREAKIN AWESOME for xbase.
