I snagged a spot for 10:30 on 7/2 will be staying in a hotel across the street the night before so plan on being there early to document everything. (Also looks like Great Wolf Lodge is booked solid for the next few days if that is any indicator for what the crowds will be)

Kings Island is the biggest park without a modern entry plaza, I would love to see them do a B&M flyer worked into a new entry plaza like Fury 325 at Carowinds or GateKeeper at Cedar Point. Fly right by the guests entering like Manta at Sea World. As far as what should go in Vortex's old space I would love to see something similar to Mystery Mine at Dollywood, we need a good themed indoor/outdoor coaster that is just plain fun.

I know I hear people complain about the rattle and the restraints. Maybe its just my personal preferences; but I would have never complained without being asked about it. I think Banshee is one of the best roller coasters in the world - the only ever invert that had a better moment of airtime was I think the blue dragon side of dueling dragons at Universal Orlando Islands of Adventure right after it's first drop ( I hope there is someone here who knows the reference).

I'm not trying to be rude to anyone or say I'm mad about the pandemic, I'm just saying nothing we got was free it all costs A LOT of money.

I just get a kick out of everyone saying everything you get with the pass is free, because I paid $1400 for my family passes. I'm not really sure how anything was free. They convinced me last year to pay it based on promises for THIS year, so extending the passes to next year seems great I am only in Ohio for this summer and won't be here next summer thats why I bought a 2020 pass and not a 2021 pass. For example you wouldn't go buy a car today and then be ok if they said ok come back a year from now and then you can have your car.

I can't remember the last time Cedar Fair built a water ride (not including water park expansions) since the fiasco or whatever happened with that new Intamin log flume they opened in Cedar Point

Agreed! It is one of the few parks where the shows/entertainment/even the museum pulled me away from roller coasters and thats quite an impressive feat!

I don't think it would feel like Kings Island to walk up to the entrance and not hear Invertigo's click click

I think you meant value is not money, worth is absolutely the amount of money something is or someone has

This is heartbreaking

I know I got the Fast Lane once and I felt like I was better than everyone else, it's a pretty addicting feeling to have it. It's kinda funny how it basically costs the park nothing but creates such a high perceived value. If the revenue/anticipated future revenue means they invest in the park by building something like say Orion then I think I'm ok with people feeling like they're better than me lol

If we look at examples of how parks are handling it in Orlando - Universal Studios has had pretty good enforcement of mask wearing so it can be done - on the flip side Sea World has had horrible compliance with the requirement to wear a mask and doesn't do anything about it.
