  1. Thank you, it was great meeting you and your family, and everyone else on KI Central Day. I had the most fun this season at the park. Hauntguy it was great finally getting to talk to you when we were on our way out this past Wed. I look forward to next season and meeting up with everyone again.
  2. I would wish to know this information as well. if i go I at least want SOB and The Beast open or theres just no point in going... I will have a list of rides and attractions that will be open for Bare Bones Nights within the next day or so. You guys will be the first to know. Cool thanks. I plan on going anyway. I'm sure one of the rides that's open will be The Beast and that's enough for me. I've done all the mazes a couple of times, so I was looking more to get some last rides in on some of the favorites. Plus like someone else said it shouldn't be crowded so it will be good either way.
  3. I have a question. On Bare Bones nights I know it's limited and on the site it says select rides open. Does anyone know which rides will be open? Thanks, James
  4. Every time I go to get a turkey leg they're always out. I've made it a mission though to get one somehow before the season ends. The italian sausages over at the stand by x base are very good though.
  5. That is true A 20oz bottle costs 3.00 from a machine. However if you go to a stand or inside a shop that same bottle will cost 3.50. I don't know why, but I've found that out after just opening my newly bought bottle of coca-cola from a vendor and happened to walk by a machine only to see it's cheaper.
  6. I too would love to see Pepsi products at KI. I don't mind bottled Coke, but would gladly trade that in for Mt. Dew. Which just happens to be my drink of choice.
  7. I thought Club Blood was my favorite as well. Trail of Terror was good as was Tombstone Terror-Tory. The one with the clowns (not sure what it's called this year) is always good to me. I haven't been through The Cemetary yet, but will check it out next weekend. As for Dead Awakeings, it was great. I walked by it this past Saturday and all the seats looked filled, there were people standing in the back, so it looks to be doing well and rightly so. I don't remember the last time I've seen the International Showplace full. So my advice would be to line up early for that one if you want to get a close seat.
  8. I really enjoyed the show and thought it was well done. I will be seeing it a few more times.
  9. I saw the show last night and really liked it. Although I would agree with a better song choice. Only on a few though I liked the majority of them. I will probably see it a few more times the next few weeks.
  10. I just have to say it. Did they play "We're not going to take it" when the band found out about the name and wasn't getting any compensation for likeness rights?
  11. I wish I could go tonight, but I'm always stuck working on Fridays so I'll have to resort to going Saturday, so I'll be there tomorrow night.
  12. I want to see this and go through Club Blood the most. Both are at the top of my list. I have to wait until Saturday to go, so the plan is to hit up Club Blood first and then Dead Awakeing at some point in the evening. Everything else I don't see I'll get in over the next few visits.

I'm going on the 23rd. My niece is taking her first trip to KI now that she is tall enough. Needless to say we won't start off with SOB, but the plan is to get there eventually. And I agree I know they should be the same, but I always have a better ride in the red train. I usually sit in the very front or very back. I don't know why the red train is better, but I've come to the point where unless it's crowded I'll wait and let someone go in front of me in order to ride in the red train.

I miss them also. I'll never forget when I got my little brother to ride them for the first time. I looked over and asked if he was ready. He then looked at me with a puzzled expression. I then finally got them to snap and he loved every minute of it. We rode the Eagles multiple times every visit from then on out. I'll also never forget the first time I made it snap. After watching people while waiting in line I finally got it down. It really was a great feeling. Man i miss that ride.
  15. I saw that same show. It was a really cool show to watch. I think my favorite part was when he talked to one of the guys that helped design it maybe, and had him interview him while riding one of his other coasters. Also did you like how the guy from the show kept bending all the nails he tried to put in? Back on topic though I've never ridden a dive coaster but after seeing that I want to really bad.
  16. I'm not sure which one I'll get yet. It will really depend on if I find people to go to other parks or not. I am glad about the free parking though that really comes in handy. Although even if it wasn't I would pay the 35 as it really does pay for itself and if you go a lot like I do it is a valuable asset. And I only went to Cedar Point once this year. The 10 dollars for parking didn't bother me. There were 4 of us so we split it up. Having it free though is always nice. Now if I just don't have to do all the driving again it will be better.
  17. I was skeptical about Drop Zone, but I rode it anyway and loved it. I was also a bit nervous about Skyflyer, but after avoiding it for about 3 years finally rode it and loved it as well. Although I don't do it now unless it's under 10 dollars.
  18. I voted for the fall event and the prime schedule. I think the fall event would be best though. Although it might be nice to have it in early June right before the park opens as a kind of sneak peak type deal. Either way it doesn't really matter I had such a blast at this years that I would want to go to another no matter when it was.
  19. I too made it to the park yesterday, and had a great time. First ride was Drop Zone, which I ended up doing twice with hardly any wait at all. I then hit all the usual rides including all the coasters. I also finally caught the Twistin' to the 60's show. There were really two standouts of my day though. The first being that I went to ride the backwards Racer. I occasionally like the backseat. I don't know I just think it's cool to see the track that way. Anyway I walked through the line and by the time I got to the back some people from the previous train switched seats and I'm sure you can all guess which one they took. I wasn't really upset about it too much as there wasn't any line and I would have waited through another cycle. Then the ride-op asks me if I walked through the line. I say yes I did. And then she proceeded to tell them that since I walked through the line and they were just staying on that they had to move and let me have that seat. I thought that was very nice of her to do and on my way out I stopped at Guest Relations and left a compliment for her. I've had people do this to me on slow days before and it is a little frustrating when you're getting ready to walk on and someone else is there. The second was being able to ride Flight of Fear and getting out just in time to get in Firehawk's line right before they cut the line off for closing. All in all it was a fine day to go and I had a blast like always. On a side note I'm sure this has been brought up before, but I have to ask. Why is it that if you buy a Coke from a vending machine it's $3.00 but if you go to a stand or a shop it's $3.50?
  20. I chose Circus of Horrors 3-D, but I'm really looking forward to them all. Club Blood is first on my list to check out and I want to see Dead Awakening too. If there was a bottom of my list it's the Fear Zones. Not because I don't like them it's just that everytime I go through them I always seem to get stuck behind a group of teenagers who get scared and almost run me over trying to get through. Although I must say last year was better when they only let small groups go through them at a time. I hope that's what they do this year as well.
  21. I always get stuck going on Saturdays since that is my normal day off. I would say Fridays have a better chance at shorter lines though. The first weekend is always good last year I went on the first Saturday and did more than I thought I would. It's been a long time, but if I remember when it was an upcharge the lines were still long, just not 2-3 hour wait long. The way I've had to do it in the last couple of years was guess which attraction would have the worst line and hit that one first every week. Sometimes you get lucky though and can hit one right before closing. It's hard to time though, I've just gotten lucky doing that. And for some reason it's always Circus of Horrors 3-D that I make it on. That one has always been my favorite. I look at it this way if they charge for the event I'm still going. I'm not going to miss out. This is my favorite time of year, and always a good time. Plus who doesn't like riding The Beast around 1 in the morning?
  22. I'm on the fence about this one. I like the Halloween event being included with my pass. However I remember it being that much better when there was an extra charge. I'm still going either way. In fact I'm looking forward to it. It is a little bittersweet though. While I like Halloween time the best it signals the end of the season which is always a little sad. Although I do remember when I had to pay I was able to hit all the haunts plus a few rides. Whereas lately I have to split the haunts up each visit to get them all in. So I'm fine with a nominal charge for passholders. It sounds like I won't be disappointed and my money will be put to good use. Now I won't be upset in the least if it's still free don't get me wrong. Either way I'm there.
  23. I personally cannot wait. It sounds like they're really going all out this year.
  24. The park was packed, it took me forever to find a parking space. I was there for the Weird Al concert. I saw at least one person I know from here at the metal detectors. I only got to ride Racer and the the Zephyr then it was time for the show. Which was just as well. I'll be there again on Tuesday as well.
  25. This is probably as good as place as any. But I talked to someone during The Beast tour and your camera phone was going dead so I said I'll put the photos on the web if you'd like. I'm sorry I can't remember your name, and I haven't put them up yet, but I will and let you know when I do. Just didn't want you to think I forgot.
